Nobody can decide and he doesn’t care what you call his voice or how many octaves. He does call his music neoclassical. The skaters you saw this time were a previous famous Russian pair. They came back together to celebrate Igor Krutoys 65 th Birthday. Igor was the pianist and he put together the entire extravaganza. He also is THE music person of Russian and is a master composer. He in fact composed Passione and others of Dimash songs. You’ll see him frequently with Dimash. They have become like brothers.

Jake, this is my favorite version of Passione. I also did figure skating in my youth, training for 2-3 hours 3 times a week. Therefore, the combination of ice dancing and Dimash's voice complements each other for me. Jake, Dimash is a very humble person that is one of his attributes his Dears (fans) appreciate the most. Even though he can reach the higher notes and he has a perfect pitch, a very beautiful voice etc he never shows off, that's simply the result of the hard work and the genius inside of him, it is what he has been working all this time. According to Dimash and his teacher he is a tenor. And I think that most of the time he sings somewhere in a tenor range. He was offered a position of a counter tenor at the opera. But of course he easily goes higher or lower when he needs because his range is so wide. Some claim he is high baritone but I don't believe that's true.
