I think I watched this version of "Hello" a thousand times, like all of DImash's songs, and I want to tell you also this: maybe now you don't realise exactly what's happening, but if you'll embrace his art and listen to more of his performances, and maybe see some interwievs (very important parts of understanding the artist and the special human being that he is) and behind the scenes documentaries, you'll start to realise that he's more than just an extraordinary vocalist. He's a phenomenon, a Mozart of contemporary vocals, that lives and breathes music from early age, and artist that teaches us about beauty, love, depts of the soul, and also true values that we unfortunately, especially in the western society, started to forgot. I grew up with classsical music, I was trained in classical music for 8 years, so music was part of my life from as long as I can remember, and I deeply loved and appreciated lots of artists and bands, fomr Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson, to NIghtwish, Deep Purple or Pavarotti, but I never felt like this when I heard somebody sing. It changed me, it opened my eyes to a different dept of soul, art, voice and music of angels, he is a miracle and I think hearing and feeling him is a bless that any human that has a heart must feel at least once in his life. I'm pretty sure that we are witnessing a revolution in music, in how singing is perceived, a new era, he is the future and like any genius that openes a door for the first time, he is not accepted yet, sometimes he is disliked and criticised by people who envie him or are just not prepared yet for him, but i'm absolutely sure that it will come a day when human kind will recognise him as a miracle that he is. And I'm happy that I'm part of the people who enjoyed him and was blessed by his art and his light for some years now. Sorry for the long message, but I just wanted to give you a warning: be prepered to be mesmerised, don't think too much, just feel, just let him in, and you'll see how your soul and your mind will react to it :) ANd as for other songs, there are soo many, and in soo many genres, cause he is a crossover in music, a "neoclassical", as he himself says, so try everything, from Ogni Pietra to If I never breath again, Battle of memories, War and Peace, Passione, SOS, Sinful passion, Love is like a dream, Your love, etc..... Just an advice: choose carefully the videos; you can use the ones from his page, he is a very generous soul and let all reactors to react without giving them copyright problems, he's a sweetheart. He also put on his page almost ALL his concerts, and that's alos very generous, not many artists do that, so you can have an insight in how those are. There is also a channel for his videos of the Singer competition, the one that made him a star in China: it's the Gloria Wu channel, she translated the songs from that competion and puted the backstories for them ( but take care that the other videos are not originals, they are made by her). And for the interwievs, documentaries and behind scenes is great the Ruxandra Translation channel. SHe is a sweetheart and translates all about DImash, she does a great job! ANd also, don't forget to put on your description the original link, especially if it's from DImash's channel, so that anybody could also watch the original, like and subscribe to his channel; he deserves much more popularity that he heas... Take care and I wish you a great musical journey!

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than nine languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "Popera" he also has a very pleasant, Humble and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, Tenor, Soprano, against Tenor, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a D8 live at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from Venezuela🇻🇪, "Dears" Forever ❤️👍🏻 Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends. One time is always not enough, although each Dimash's song is love at the first listen. But it's necessary to listen to it again and again... It's amazing - to connect the west with the east like that! When the English "hello" sounds like a call from a minaret - it's almost a revolution in a single vocal piece! Elegant, beautiful and, unexpectedly, such a harmonious move. And the magic flute ... In the final of the song "Mен сені сүйемін" (men seni süyemin) - i love you in Kazakh. How does he do that? Somewhere the stars alinged in a right way, so that this boy came into this world, grew up and made us happy. It's just that he is music.

I will use the Google translator hoping for a good translation. In any case, I will also bring my text back to you in my mother tongue. You are a sensitive, nice and sharp person. As I did with others, using the same words, I will therefore also help you understand who and what Dimash is. What I'm about to tell you will also answer your question about what to hear about Dimash. The answer is: Everything. And it's not, as it might seem, an obvious answer. I'm Italian. I've known bel canto since I was born. Let's make the point right away: Dimash is not just good at this or that field, in this or that aspect, of singing. Dimash is the sound field. This is no longer about octaves, whistle logs and even more than just immense vocal technique. Dimash has a universal voice. To be clear, his voice is like what in biology is called a totipotent cell. In this sense it is a "stem voice". From this cell can be generated any type of tissue, what are commonly called musical genres. Its transitions are such that the transition no longer exists. Dimash does not sing the different genres (opera, pop, rock, also rap et cetera...). It's all genders already. In his case, musical genres are nothing more than a coloriture, an inflection, a declination, of his general voice. The same applies, of course, to all his voice records. This also leads to the fact that he sings easily in several languages. The different national languages are nothing more than determinations, sub-species, of its general sonority. Let me give you an example which is also a confirmation: Dimash has sometimes been criticized for not having devoted himself exclusively to the Opera. It was Dimash himself who declined the invitation to specialize in operatic singing. And this is perfectly consistent with its nature and value. Dimash is not only an operatic singer, neither just rock, nor just pop, nor anything specified and specific, simply because he is a "holistic" singer in both the philosophical and scientific sense of the term. Dimash is a "singing system" that is more than the sum of its own parts. She sings with her whole body. This fact does not only relates to technical considerations relating to the posture to be taken at different times and modes of singing. It is first and foremost that, as I said, in Dimash singing is equivalent to the whole organism. I suppose sooner or later this should have happened in someone. It happened in this Kazakh boy. In summary: The other singers, all the other singers, perform a song. Dimash executes himself. Having said that, I salute you. E’ già tutti i generi.

Unico unici, I love your description of Dimash. I experience him as if he simply IS music, as if music is in every cell of his being and simply must always find unique expression. He is not like any other vocalist I’ve ever heard. Your description of his musicianship using the metaphor of biology is so apropos in my mind.

Sadhguru explains how a physical body can be occupied in different levels. On the outside level he occupies our body. It does not matter how many times I listened to a song, he always takes over starting from the legs. I never had shivers on my legs. He does much more than singing. Probably transform those who are subject to it.

I really am enjoying your reactions to our Dimash! One of his qualities we all love is his loyalty...to us, to his friends, to his family and to his country. So, you will learn much about him from this song, Daididau. Please watch on Gloria Wu’s channel because it has a backstory. Another Kazakh song is Samultau from the 2020 Tokyo Jazz Festival. This song is about a young man in Ww1 who has been conscripted by the soviets to fight in the war, leaving his elderly parents alone. This is a beautiful, haunting song. Just Dimash and 2 musicians in his studio. Thanks in advance.

Dimash at the age of 5 entered the children's music. a studio at the college (in the class - piano, vocals, choir, solfeggio,) ---- further - a music school in the city's schoolchildren's house - - - - then, to the children's music studio at the Philharmonic; ---- from the age of 15 he worked in this philharmonic society; --- - further Aktobe College in the class of "Academic singing" - 4 years ....---- then - the university of "game" in Astana (pop, jazz) --- then there was - master's degree (composition) - Now I have entered graduate school ... This is our Dimash!... ...

Btw, you can do comparison from the Singer2017 show and Bastau concert on the same time. Dimash was sick and lost his voice before the competition, it was the first time he perfomed the song but nailed it and just when you think it coudn’t get any better there came Bastau concert and then you realized pure perfection ♥️♥️

I would suggest to you to begin with the performances from I Am Singer in China. Then move to the rest of his work chronologically. It allows you to see him grow. I would also suggest that prior to watching one of his performances, you can typically find the song lyrics in a variety of language translations at LyricsTranslate. Also, because Dimash never just sings, he paints a story in music, make sure to look for the back story to his songs. Many of his songs are based on a true historical event or have a particular cultural significance or are based on a piece of poetry or prose literature. Knowing the back story is often helpful in understanding how he approaches a song and why he is able to elicit deep emotions from listeners who don’t even understand the words of the song. With Dimash, he doesn’t always need for a listener to have any fluency in the specific language of a song because he is able to convey so much with his performances.

Fascinating assessment. I've listened to this so many times, and not thought about this perspective. Once you opened it, though, my instinctive response was that he's inside his own head - he's not really talking to anyone but himself. Introspective, almost mourning for being unseen. Thank you for your response.

What luck I found You here. I very much agree with You. Dimash always has his own picture or story to bring to us. I really like the way You translate Dimashi songs into the language of emotions. Surely we all have our own story, which we see in his songs, but it is exciting to follow Your discussions. Greetings from Estonia!
