Happy New Year Lizzie 🎉 Sounds like you have some great sewing plans for this year. I made a 1920s dalmation print Cruella fur coat for Christmas and it was a labour of love that even got thrown in a black rubbish bin bag for a while😂 Anyway I finished her now and renamed her to Daisy, the leading lady from the 1927 film the Lodger 😂 Anyway enjoy your projects, I look forward to seeing your creations 🤩

Some really interesting plans Lizzie! I love Film Noir of course and will also be especially interested to see vintage menswear, which we never usually get to see made. I’m thinking tailoring!! I have all those vintage tailoring books and all the good intentions but so far …. nuffink!!!! has happened 😂 Sure you will inspire me! ❤️❤️❤️

You're sound okay, love. As for plans, I too will be working on losing some weight, partly because I need to change my diet (food is EXPENSIVE). On the craft side, I will be working on beading projects as well as origami. But my priority will be writing. Looking forward to see you plans progress.

I am just now jumping into learning about Haslam and went thru most of your Haslam playlist :). I now have the chart & foundation instructions as well as one of the "fuller figured" books with some fantastic Princess style coats (Fuller figured drafting No.3 - 1956). I've read thru all instructions and took current measurements and about to begin drafting out the foundation pieces. my question is the fuller figured book begins by saying "The draftings are based on the foundation dress pattern for the fuller figure." I have not seen anything for foundation instructions specific to 'fuller figure'. is that something you have seen? I also came across your Reddit group, so if you expect to continue posting in it, I'll join it. I am not much for Reddit, but appreciate info that can be found there :)

That's so awesome! Haslam is so much fun! On the page for the dress foundation instructions, there is a foundation for full figure. It says "FRONT (Full Figure) for all drawings 40" bust and over." You would use the original foundation back, but follow any adjustments the full-figure books advice. For future Haslam videos I will add full figure info too. I hope that helps. 😁❤️
