till this day i remember in this expansion alone i earned "Legendary Pet Brawler" achievement, which is to Win 5000 PvP pet battles, i completed everything els in the game and all i was doing pet battles, and buying low level pets and reselling them after leveling them up to 25, it was great gold making at that time, good old days..

Imagine they do WoD classic+... a version of WoD where they add all the cut content: Shattrat raid, Farahlon, the Orgrim Doomhammer cut storyline, Karabor and the Ogre Citadel as the actual player hubs instead of Ashram, the Ogre continent, the Zangar sea World Boss and quests

Well WOD looked promising at the start, then you got into garrison buildings and missions that just made everyone quit very fast. If you add all the cut content, you still need to remove garrisons. I think that would make WOD decent.

Say what you want about WoD but it still to this day has the best leveling experience and raids for one expansion. Even the best expansions like MoP and Legion had some real stinkers.

For me it depends how they'd do WoD. If blizzard do wod classic as a copy paste of the original, then I won't play. I'll probably play War within or whatever's retail at that point. Or Classic Era for that matter. For a potential WoD classic to be successful, there are a few steps that are needed. Step 1. Scale back the convenience of the Garrisons. Make 'em purely cosmetic. Like, keep the room where you had archeology artifacts on display, keep the trophy spots, but delete all the profession buildings, delete the herb garden, delete the mine, maybe even delete the fishing pond, scale back the mission table. In OG WoD, you could get raid gear from the mission table. That's too convenient. So that's the obvious step out of the way. WoD was way too convenient for it's own good, so the convenience needs to be stripped back. Step 2. Fill in the blank spots. WoD was a blizzard experiment of doing 1 year expansions, and as a result, more than half the expansion was cut and released as an unfinished product. The story got rushed as it completely skipped the 2nd act. We got a brilliant 1st act, and a limp 3rd act. Though I'd argue that the 3rd act felt limp cause there was no meat from any 2nd act to make the story have a satisfying conclusion. Do the shattrath raid, do farulon, do the ogre continent. And of course give us the capitals we were supposed to have. Karabor and the blade spire thingy the horde was supposed to have. Ashran was supposed to be a pvp island, instead Ashran became 2 rushed capital cities with a battleground between 'em. Step 3. Just have flying be something you buy at lvl 100 or something, like in pandaria, northrend and outland. Don't do that pathfinder achievement bullshit. WoD had so much potential to be the best expansion ever created. Could've been better than wrath. But it got handicapped by experimentation. Some great content in that expansion of the little it had. And that got ignored cause everyone sat in their garrisons playing AFK arena.

I remember when blizz was hyping wod to be the best xpac ever and until after a few months playing it and right after the tanaan jungle patch it was probably the worst one I ever played. Classic, TBC, Wrath, and MOP will always have a place in my heart for the content they had.

@@chaoshunting5659 It was probably my favorite cinematic. My GM and I would talk for hours about it over on vent on how cool it was. All the content went into player housing IMO was worthless. They should've done more to incentivize people to interact with other players in the world. Plus blizz initially planned to keep draenor no flying zone until a bunch of people complained which also ruined it for me too. I feel the inconveniences of classic is what honestly made it such a good game. Player housing while a cool concept it was turned WOW into a facebook game like farmville. There were plans for people to go to the zangar sea, isle of faralon(netherstorm before it got wrecked), and the ogre continent. Sucks really, I really liked new nagrand even more than the TBC one even because you can tell the devs put a lot of work into it and really incorporated a lot of the lore from the books that and shadowmoon valley. They even said you can pick what zone for your garrison but they didn't do it. Which is why I hated it so much because Horde got done dirty by being put in the boring area of frostfire ridge.
