If it's a registered breeder, chances are the pup is in better health and was treated better than with an unregistered breeder, but that was not totally my point. Breeders (unregistered and registered) should not be a thing when there are 3.9 MILLION dogs entering shelters EVERY year. These dogs deserve a family as well, they're not 'less cute' or 'less valuable.' 1.2 million dogs are killed every year. That's an insane number of dogs that could've had a family if breeding wasn't a thing.

Being registered doesn't necessarily make them a good breeder. A good breeder does the appropriate health testing, and preferably titles their dogs in relevant dog sports... conformation is usually one of the main ones. But that's beside the point, buying from a breeder doesn't make someone a bad individual just because they could've rescued. Good breeders do not add to the dogs going to shelters because GOOD breeders will take dogs back if the owner can no longer take care of them for whatever reason.

valerie for my dog we only had to put her in a cage when no one was home so she wouldn't mess anything up. Now she's pretty well behaved so we don't have to but sometimes she'll be angry we left so she'll crap on the floor.

I also wonder this? I live in Sweden and it's illegal to have your dog locked in a cage here. Even if it's for just 2 minutes, then you're breaking the law. And I think that's a good thing to be honest.

He is too cute for words!!! Piece of advice for when he is sleeping: put a warm rubber bag of water (idk the name, girls use them when we're on our period) or a rice bag wrapped in a towel. This will provide Milo with warmth while he sleeps. Most of the time puppies feel alone and cold and thats why they cry at night. This helped my pup a lot in the beginning. Just make sure the water bag is wrapped because my pup bit it and we woke up in the morning with him being all wet from the water. Also every hour take him out to pee. He will be potty trained within a week if y'all are consistent. Pee pee pads for little accidents also help the little guy. Puppy treat and food in general only made in the USA and it has to say made in the USA- trader joes has the best dog treats 1lb for I think $5 and the treats are huge so you guys can cut them up and they will last furever (ha!). Also harness is better than collar because dogs will pull and a collar will hurt their throat but not a harness. You guys are awesome with him and I am so so so happy for you guys. A dog really enriches your life more than anyone can imagine
