@@DavidL1986 I will go further if Maguire and McTominay had come in last season we would have been able to drop Zouma and we would be in Europe. The collapse in his form (combined with the failed Kalvin Phillips trial) is what did for the back end of last season. Our only hope is that we don't have Europe so we have time to work on things in training

Chelsea fan here. It was a victory that was long overdue against you lot, but West Ham just had an off day today, Kudus was the only one that actually looked like a West Ham player that wanted to get stuck in. Bowen and co did not cover themselves in positivity today and let Lopetgui and the fans down. Nevertheless the team should pick themselves up, dust down and improve in rhe next game.

Mate you can't have everything your own way. This is the premier league. The level here is off the chart. If you have a system that works and you change it, it is a risk, it can go wrong. We have players who make mistakes and we have a system which does not work if they make mistakes. Not a good combination.

@@craigmorrow2939 We didn't bin Moyes it was mutual. If he had signed the contract he would still be here. When he didn't the board had a rethink which they were entitled to do. Sad thing is if we had landed McGuire and McTominay last summer the Phillips/Zouma inspired meltdown in our defence would never have happened and we would probably be back in Europe. Still that would not be West Ham. Fortune had gone back into hiding.

We had tons of similar results under moyes. Lost 5-0 to Fulham away, lost 5-0 to palace away. It’s just a shame we’ve replaced a poor manager with another by the looks of it

Was at the game, my takeaway, we are way too open. The balance is all wrong, instead of wedging in the best players find a team ethic and a plan. He took Summerville off who was exceptional, very strange. He needs to break up the 2 xDM approach and play more on the front foot. Paqueta needs dropping, has been atrocious. Play Fulkrug when fit, Summerville on the left, Bowen on right, Kudus at 10 Reply 0 0

Alvarez is good but too slow to play in our back line. Rodrigues is not as good as Alvarez but also very slow. Mavropanos is slow and unable to sense danger until too late. Replace Rodrigues and Mavropanos would be a good place to start.

Moyes was awful, his replacement may not be all that, but I wouldn't have Moyes back if he crawled to us on bended knees. If JLo can't produce the goods then he'll have to go as well, but we need to give him a decent chance. There is nothing wrong in fans wanting to see exciting football and having a dynamic coach - it's called ambition!
