The nobles you see in Helluva Boss are noble born demons(generally from the Book of Solomon), theyre naturally above Overlords, and don't need human souls to maintain their power, only below the 7 sins and stronger angels. Stolas is one of these noble borns, thus stronger then anyone we've seen in this show that isnt Vaggie's family/some angels.

There's a theory that Alastor made a deal with Lilith or Eve when he was alive (he was either part of a cult or doing voodoo practices), which would explain why he was so powerful when he appeared in hell and killed off most of the Overlords.

Asmodeus is a Deadly Sin, the Sin of Lust. He was never human. Deadly Sins are above the Ars Goetia. The Ars Goetia, Stolas's family, is above Overlords. Overlords are just high ranking Sinners. Lucifer is the strongest of the Sins, the Sin of Pride. He doesn't care what Sinners do so he doesn't care for the little self established hierarchy of mortal souls.

@@TJ2T-MAL No, it is not, the lore around his parents is from the Hazbin Hotel Journey to the light wiki, a fan wiki page filled to the brim with misinformation that, unfortunately, showed up at the top of searches for a very long time despite it being complete fanfiction, we know he's a mommas boy, that's it, there's no extra lore in the podcast or interviews, it's all made up headcanons that ended up being spread as fact for years until people realized.
