When I had my three story house, my kitchen theme was gingerbread all year round. Now that we've sold our house & are RVers in a 40ft motor home, I have very limited space to decorate, but still love gingerbread & snow globes for winter decor. I sure wish our DTs had nice things like yours does! I have a small wooden house that's begging for gingerbread dec & was going to buy the white puffy paint in a tiny little bottle from Wal-Mart, but thanks to you I'm going to use the white caulk from DT for icing detail. The idea about using makeup foams to paint with instead of spray paint is cheaper & better, also. Loved every one of these crafts & would love to make them, but sadly have nowhere to display in my tiny home.

You noticed it too 😂. I just commented about that. Gingerbread is actually dark. As a professional pastry chef that made me cringe a bit seeing it so light. Less gingerbread and more spice cookie man 😂😂😂. The key ppl should remember is gingerbread is made with molasses. The industry has been flooding the market with inaccurate decor tones.

I was thinking the same. It might be too tall but you could get the over size napkins in maybe white green and red roll them up and stand them up use a little bakers twine and tie it around close to the top to keep the top of the napkin in a neater roll.

Cute content. Fun fact note, nothing major. Gingerbread is actually dark brown the color of the stain you used to do the cookie tray decor. You could lighten it by 1 shade. But traditionally all gingerbread is a deep brown because its made with molasses. The hazelnut brown you used could be a bit darker to be true to color otherwise everything looks cute.

oh boy. I don't remember. I think I had one package of each but I probably used some extras that I had. It's pretty forgiving. Especially since everyone decorates gingerbread houses a little differently.
