Gundam Wing was one of my gateway anime back when it was shown on Toonami in the 90s. Loved the show! It's not the greatest show ever, but I really enjoyed it and have watched the series at least 5 or 6 times over the years.

Glass Reflection Probably not. But I can dream. Iirc I think there was word we'd be getting at least standard DVD and bluray releases of G Gundam. But it'd be kinda cool if the bigger/longer shows got these kinda sets and the shorter ones a different kind of Ultra Edition.

Rightsuf made a deal/contract with Sunrise a few years back to release every Gundam series on Blu ray. I know G Gundam is set to release this year on Blu ray. Not sure if it will have a big fancy box set like this. Gundam Wing I believe is one of the worst Gundam shows in the whole franchise, but unfortunately it is popular enough to warrant a release of this magnitude. I love G Gundam, but I doubt they will do anything special.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans is also a series I recommend, it was also the newest gundam series so far ... And that's it! The only series that have a second season are 2,5,6,8 and 9 having their own OVA's and Movies as well. If your confused by the terms OVA, ONA, and Gunpla then too bad! Just google those terms.

This edition was so fucking great. I was one of the first reviewers for it on amazon, probably have the most helpful posts and put a picture with me hugging it lol. I'll probably sell it soon though, money problems. Btw I have the gundam 00 ultra edtion already too. I think it's much better because it's more compact than the wing ultra edition eliminating that extra space that the wing ultra edition had without removing the amount of extras. I will be doing a review on it soon as Gundam 00 is my favortie gundam series.

Can anyone help me? This is random Af but there's this anime I want to watch Steins;gate but it has Ovas and there's movies as well(I'm more concerned about the Ovas with the normal series). Technically, all you need to watch is Steins;Gate TV followed by Steins;Gate Zero which is current airing. While you can watch the OVA and the Film at any time after the original series, the OVA is heavily non-canon and the film is....well just not that good XD

Like which ones? Most countries didn't have weird censorship of USA and so did have way more anime shows then States. I know about France for example. As such neither Wing, Voltron or Akira were particularly popular there. In my country "big things" were Deimos, Gatchaman, and awesome Tekaman Blade. I also preferred Rayearth way more then Sailor Moon and do you even know what Slayers, Knights of the Zodiac (Saint Seiya) and Soul Hunter is? That last one you may know as it has now a remake (Hoshin Engi). Really decent pre-Dragon Ball shonen's..

The first one is a good place. You could also do its compilation movies for a great streamlined version. Then do Zeta Gundam, Double Zeta (bad first third), Char's counterattack, and Gundam Unicorn to finish the main timeline. The other timelines you can watch in any order.

UC = best Gundam for sure. I'm actually not a fan of Age, but the others are good choices. I'm surprised you didn't mention Gundam Seed Destiny....best gundam ever, amirite? joke. Despite rumours or announcements of remakes or continuations of previous non-uc Gundam series' recently, I'd rather see a new one done well. A standalone Gundam series that takes the audience by surprise.

@LuluLamperouge Well.. other series are remakes (or should I say reboots). Just usually not as good as one as big as UC with several long series/OVA's/movies/books/etc., what was complex war drama from the get go. After initial collapse of UC in 90's as result of economical crisis (people still can't forgive them cancellation of F91 and Crossbone) it is understandable that they try reboot series, but because they didn't have another as good director as Yoshiyuki Tomino those usually end as mediocre toy commercials veered from passable, uneven to total turds (shamefully Tomino also lost tough after great Turn-A). Wing generally was a flap in Japan, but it was first Gundam in the States so it is still standard for franchise for some people (tfu). Though over time most people did acknowledged that it was a washout incomparable to UC. Gladly we have finally rebirth of UC popularity.
