Great to see and hear this song. a great number that got lost over the years after their string of giant albums. Early Hall and Oates has some incredible gems. This is the best.

SPECTACULAR, '70s Hall & Oates is unbeatable! Thank your Mr. Sugarman for allowing us to witness this magic!

This is another fine example why the Midnight Special is amazing. They put on groups like Hall&Oats.This is a musical treat. I'm so glad that I watched this performance. The Midnight Special was an intricate part of my generation.

Is there a woman alive who didn’t fall in lust for Daryl at some point or other? The songs, the voice, the soul - and his good looks - are just otherworldly.

Maybe the lesbians? Anyway, yes, Daryl is great, so is John.

The man's 40 years older than me and, even in his late 70's, I still swoon a dribble a bit whenever I see him. He's just amazing and stunning

No Miming here kids, Pure God given, Gold Talent at it's finest, Period!! I was 13 when this came out in 1978 over 46 years ago. That to me is mind boggling, as it really doesn't seem all that far away. Love this classic tune even more today.

This is a vast improvement over the VHS I taped off of VH1 when the episode was rebroadcast in late 90s, which caused me to seek out the Along The Red Ledge album. Please upload "Melody For A Memory" and "Don't Blame It On Love"

Nice kiss-off Daryl. This shows how deep our friendship was to you. And you can't even give me a reason? As always, I'm usually the one who stays until the end. What a mean way to shine me on, by using an image of you, (in a song) that you know is my favorite! This is not how I wanted to be fucked!

Terrific! Anyone know the story with Hall's guitar? I don't recall seeing that one before. Hard to make out for sure but looks like a 4-string guitar with doubled/octave strings.
@kevgamble Жыл бұрын
@Rick Cheers, thanks! I am familiar with the ES-335 4-string but had never seen this one with the standard Tele + 2 headstock. Do you know whether they used mandolin tuning, or tenor guitar tuning?

@jesst69255 ай бұрын
His voice is not gone at all. I just saw him in Virginia on July 25th and his voice was awesome! So was his performance and “grace” whatever that means. I saw him in Hershey, PA last May 2023 and he was great there too.
