Something tells me there's more to the story than either will reveal. I think it was really telling that John Oates said that for the last 20 years or so, they would just show up and play the concerts and then go their separate ways. Even the show Behind the Music from 25 years ago, I believe John explained they were never that closed to begin with. Daryl wouldn't admit that. He mentioned they got along real great and enjoying being together. I think the problem with those two, they couldn't come in terms of agreement. I believed Daryl accepted John more than John accepted him. The main issue is, Daryl has a huge ego problem and he probably didn't know it was affecting his relationship with John. John on the hand, was trying to get out of Daryl's shadow for a long time but couldn't. I think John don't get along with Daryl on the persona level and Daryl don't get along with John on the business side of things. That's what I'm reading about their relationship.

If there’s an agreement that one partner has veto power over the sale to a third party, then Hall’s actions make sense.
