I like seeing the “older ladies handwriting” because it does remind me of my Gram & her sisters and it brings back happy memories. Very few people write in cursive today like they always did, so I’m always happy to see that style of writing.

$60 for the unit! A lucky buy, as online units usually sell for $$$. I'm not versed on what country vinyl sells; wish they would have had their sleeves! This was a fun unit for sure and makes me feel like we are still on that path to finding the 1980s treasure trove!

Love watching you both, so anytime I can see you together like this is even better. Your enthusiasm even manages to get our calm, collected Taco amped up. Love it! A couple times I found myself being jealous of that locker...for a brief moment. I tried to clean out my own locker last summer after being in 3 hospitals with bleeding ulcers. Just me working to clean out the remnants of things I couldn't bear to throw away because they were too valuable. After all, I had stored the majority of a 3 bedroom house...for 20 years. Broke my heart. Started cleaning it out to stop the monthly rent and recoup some of my losses. So much damage, mold, mildew...so much went straight to the trash. I have recouped a tiny, tiny percentage. I still have some to go this spring. Hope there will be something else good, but my hope is greatly diminished. Please feel free to make these videos as long as you want. A bunch of us will watch! As for jealousy, I would sometimes feel jealous if someone had something I wanted...then I would feel guilty for feeling that way...lol. One time my mom saw something she really, really liked and I think I asked her if she would like to have it. She said...I'd like to have that one, and they could have a better one. So now, that's the way I try to think. Your next unit may be the one! I hope so.

That is tough. On one hand you think “I haven’t touched this stuff in 20 years…” and then when it’s time to discard or sell it, the attachment is still there. But don’t worry, you aren’t alone, as I hear that same situation from many others. I believe I state it in a future video, but the owner of this unit had passed away and from the obituary it appears like they had no family left. I like to think that now others, like myself, can enjoy being able to wear a great vintage t-shirt or give that ceramic lion cub a home, and enjoy listening to some country records versus it all ended up thrown in the dumpster by the storage facility. This person’s items can bring joy to other people as I’m sure it brought joy to them!

I worked at Swingster's in Kansas back in the early 80's Oh the memories !!!!! I have a box of swatches of a lot of things we embroidered .Baseball teams . A lot of those kinds of jackets. WOW

I seen David Coppertfield in Kansas City years ago. He was amazing! I only wish I had gone to see Alabama and Loretta! Taco got himself a unit full of great stuff. I think the furniture that is in the unit might not be saved. And the furniture that is good can be repaired and repurpose those furnitures as well. What an amazing unit that Taco Stack's had taken.
