Trivia: Barrie Chase (the woman dancing with Dick Shawn) recently turned 90. She jokingly says, "I am the cast reunion for It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World." Also, the plane flying through the Coca-Cola billboard was done for real. The billboard was made out of balsa wood but it still damaged the plane. Stunt pilot Frank Tallman did the stunt.

Yup - no CGI back then! Both Frank Tallman and his partner, Paul Mantz, died while filming stunts...in fact, the scene with Mantz's passing in THE FLIGHT OF THE PHOENIX was kept in the movie, which was dedicated to him. Outtakes from the other camera angles of the crash can be found on youtube.

Yes, Barrie Chase is the sole-surviving cast member of all the major, minor, and cameo roles of Mx4W.

This movie could NEVER be made today. Would be impossible to assemble this level of talent. Plus all the real stunts! And so, please don't anybody even attempt to try! No remakes or reboots. No sequels. Just allow this comedy epic stand on its own in cinematic history.
