If he's not running out of fuel there's no need to change anything. The tuner should have been able to see if the maf was pegging from the datalog. I'm sure with his intention to go E85 he'll need to upgrade his MAF though.

My last Cobra was 2.3 TVS and Cams.. made 650 wheel. My current Cobra is 2.9 Whipple crusher, built motor, e85, etc.. makes 800+.. had a lot more fun in my last car at 650. I think that 600-650 range is perfect with these cars.

pull out the MAF, Clean the MAF with CRC mass air flow sensor cleaner.a dirty MAF can cause your misfires as well.

@@DerekBaranProductions headers aren't going to get you much if any peak gain. You'll see a little more under the curve. More hassle and $ then they're worth in power. E85 and retune and you shouldn't have a problem hitting 700rwhp.

They do not come with 3 inch exhaust. I beleive the terminator has 2.5 but I'm not sure.

My car had a 1st gen 2.3 whipple on it when I bought it 5 years ago. It made almost 21 psi with long tubes and cams. On 93 octane it put down 576 on a shitty tune. Now it has a gen 3, 3.4 whipple, put down 700 on 18psi with 93 octane and boostane.

Just put a gen4 2.9 whipple on my sonic blue 03 cobra its on e85 long tubes and return style fuel system. It made 870 and 750 fp of torque. Was tuned at Dean's performance by Bob kurgan Its a beast.

I had to gap my plugs to 0.024 due to plug blowout at around 18 psi with fresh motorcraft coil packs. I still had blowout at 0.028.

Yea he said he was gapped af .032 the seems like it's too wide to me for his setup I'm running that same gap on my 07 gt500 and it's just a 2.6 upper stock lower stock blower car running about 13 psi. When I throw on my gen3r I'm gonna run the same 2.6 upper stock lower combo but I'll be pushing about 20 lbs out of that blower so I'm gonna throw new set of tr6 plugs I already have gapped to about .024 that should be about right. 93/boostane.

@@DerekBaranProductions my engine was fresh at the time along with increasing compression to 9.5 to 1 compression. Running NGK TR6 plugs. I was on pump gas at the time. Plug blowout was around 5400 rpm. I gapped them down to 0.024 after talking with the guys on SVTPERFORMANCE, and no issues since. Car drives without issue at the smaller gap. It’s on E85 now too though.

The fresh coils at 0.028, I still had plug blowout. My stock coils were fine. They all tested the same with an ohmmeter as well when compared to a new set of coils.

I’d gap those plugs a little tighter and def do new coils. I’d also check the blower belt you could be getting belt slip as well.

So little hint, it’s said it’s good to change plugs before to go to a dyno so they are fresh. Also that’s close to stock gap.. on a Whipple you want .028 to prevent blow out. NGK TR-6 plugs are best ones. Inexpensive too. Yes the Whipple is most likely a gen 2, but if you have the serial number off it I can check! It’s on the silver band on the blower. 👍 Healthy car you got man!

@@sabinoguzman7780 yessir! In that case I’d recommend my channel. I did all that stuff when I encountered a spitter issue when I first got it. Mine to had a BAP (boost a pump). I ended up changing the whole fuel system around. New pumps, no more BAP.

See that tank under your hood, that’s the ice box (water injection). It cools your intake temps

Pull all the coil packs and check for cracks in the outside of the coil and look at the seals on the coil pack, I would personally recommend getting all new spark plugs and coil packs, sweet new edge, wish the dyno day could have gone smoother but that is one of the luxurious of having fast cars
