If your videos of flea market hunting were an hour long it would be fine with me! The time flies so I would enjoy them at an hour 😊

It's great! I could easily empty my wallet there if I wasn't careful!

My wife and I were there on Thursday and Friday. I give you a lot of credit for having the patience to go through those booths. Some were incredibly orderly. Some looked like the guys had backed up a dump truck.
@blueberrycinnamonbun19473 ай бұрын
Omg though sometimes the dump truck guys have cool stuff dirt cheap. You just gotta get your hands dirty!

Yes, the ones that are totally a mess usually have hidden gems because the sellers sometimes don't even know what they are selling.

Great video Tom. For some reason the comment on the 80s stegosaurus bank not being that old reminded me of a meme I saw earlier today. Marty McFly went from 1985 to 1955. For us in 2024, that would be like going back to 1994. Anyone feel really old now?! I think I'd call that frame with the dried flower diorama-type thing a shadow box frame. I also saw one of those tomato pin cushions that everyone's mom or grandma seemed to have back in the day.
@fleabittenadventures3 ай бұрын
Yes, I agree, "old" is relative, but to me, the 80's is not old. I thought the stegosaurus bank might have been from the 50's or 60's at first.

I love whacky packs my parents had a stack from the original 70s series and I loved looking through them as a kid even though I didn't recognize most of the products.
@fleabittenadventures3 ай бұрын
I agree! I still have a bunch in my collection. The 60's and 70's ones are getting harder and harder to find at flea markets though.

Tom, I can’t get over how much “stuff” people accumulate over the years. The Glade toilet paper roll thing made me laugh. Did you ever figure out what the Mickey Mouse item was, was it a phone? Great video. We enjoy your videos.
@fleabittenadventures3 ай бұрын
Yeah, the toilet paper roll thing was confusing to me too.... Never found out what the Mickey Mouse thing was... Thanks for watching!

2:48 - The first Pepsi bottle you handled is newer, than the bottle with a white and red label. My uncle who lived near Louisville, KY, would buy these 16oz return bottles in an 8-pack, into te 1990s. These bottles were gone from the Philadelphia area by the mid-1960s.

Tom Hello good morning Tom. I love your content even the malls. I’m not far from this Broomfield flea market. I had one question did you happen to see any heavy grade radio control cars up there? That would be the only reason why I’d go.

Nope. None at all.

The one down fall to the Flea Markets, we have been trained to set up before first light, we leave our items out all day through the heat and then leave them overnight. Covered by a tent or plastic our items still get destroyed by moisture. To touch on the uranium glass, many other glass colors also glow, you might find amber, clear, red, etc. ✌🏻💚🙏🏻
@fleabittenadventures3 ай бұрын
Yes, you can tell that a lot of the stuff for sale at these flea markets has been left out in the elements for a VERY long time! I didn't know about the other glass colors glowing too! Thanks.

Prices will be high all week! Until Sunday that is. Then you’ll get some bargains! I hope you resell all this stuff,or else I’d hate to see what your house looks like! Bottles like that aren’t worth more than a buck. They’re very common I had a stegosaurus bank like that in the late 60s.
