He was all talk before government, he wasn't fit for the position, straight into one of the most important ministerial positions and not in party even a wet week. He was disastrous, invisible and worst minister in the role despite few poor predecessors. He'll have soft landing, cash payout,huge pensions . If he was in real world he'd be kicked out,no soft landing for failure and meeting essential, set targets. Even now,excuses,spin, talking but saying nothing, bit like his performance in government.

Politics is a tough job, you're never off. Brian Cowen called the Health Service 'Angola'. How correct he was. The government can throw billions at health but it's not going to fix the problem. It's management that's at fault, everything has to go through A&E even for a return visit, you must register at A&E which clogs up the system.
