I think All For One got stronger as he got younger because of his connection to Shigaraki; he no longer had the calm, level-headedness that he gained from age. AFO didn't even know he could be that strong, but just like Shiggy (possilibly through a situation like the vestiges; we've already seen an AFO vestige in Shiggy), as he gives into his feelings of rage and hatred (though losing precise control), he draws overwhelming strength from it.

Ofc whenever a situation seems to be going in the favor of the heros SOMETHING always has to go wrong for AFO and the league to get the upper hand. This episode, Shigaraki breaking free and Nagant coming back are all situations AFO thought he had full control over that ended up backfiring on him. He manipulated and left Nagant for dead. She blows off his hands. He manipulated Shigaraki for his plans. Shigaraki rebels. He intentionally left Machia behind to "teach Tomura the pain of loss". Machia throws a mountain at him. Machia is also one of the few able to handle multiple quirks without modification(OFA and AFO not included) and is now the only other person aside from Deku to resist brainwashing. He's got that dog in him. Literally. We also see how much of a crutch Shigaraki's hatred is for AFO. He needs his hatred to theoretically be able to steal OFA. And now that same hatred is actually making AFO's quirks stronger as he gets younger. AFO likes to say that Shigaraki is just the other him and that he's the one actually running things. But a huge chunk of AFO's plan and him being able to basically one shot everyone at Gunga is BECAUSE of Shigaraki's immense hate.

We have another chaos filled episode today. Filled to the brim of nonstop fighting. 1st we got Toga. And her crisis is getting a bit more clear. We have known she has a mass misunderstanding of affection all along but she has always justified that as I love the same way but express it different. "You kiss someone you love, I suck their blood." You have a massive crush on someone. 1st you want to act like them but that's just not enough. You then want to BECOME them. It's caused Uraraka a lot of confusion and gets in her head what is a healthy crush and what is obsession. Uraraka is healthy and has been very reasonable in her affection. But she often gets scared of crossing a line at weird points. Thinking she was out of line for not wanting to compete and wanted to work with Deku at the cavalry battle. Thinking she was out of line for defending Deku regarding "Camie" being REALLY freaky around Deku. Or the same around Mei Hatsume at points she honestly was VERY justified to be worried for him. It was a lot of pot stirring CAUSED by Toga's obsession. But now we are seeing the undeniable proof. Toga thinks she's loved people the same way, but now that she's using double, she can't fully utilize it because she doesn't have the affection needed for everyone else she wants to use. And she NEEDS affection for her quirk. Its not just her hatred blinding her. And now Toga is in CRISIS. What does that make her if she doesn't understand what she wants to speak of most? And Uraraka pinpoints that emotion as someone who has gone through that. JUST emotion based. Uraraka is developing. Not her quirk. Her personality. She's a HSP. But what she just did was a technique of an empath. Deku couldn't empathize with Toga because he had not experienced emotions like that. Making HIS ability as an empath not work on her. Empaths can ONLY empathize as far as their emotional experience has taken them. Which is often ABSURDLY vast giving them so much to more to empathize with. Uraraka actually seems to be gaining the reflexive empathy Deku has practiced the entire show. She's becoming an empath in real time during this whole ordeal. Tokoyami with maximum Dark Shadow is doing a pretty decent job holding Prime AFO in place, and Tokoyami is being held up by Hawks to keep Dark Shadow airborne (The maximum kaiju was actually entirely on the ground in season 3 and the 2nd movie.) We got Inasa acting as a tailwind to speed him up and funnel the shockwaves into even greater force, and we have Camie creating as much darkness as she can to maintain that power output and increase it as much as possible. AFO gets YOUNGER and changes voice actors?! That's awesome. I would say look how much this teamup is doing...but I think I should say look how little AFO thinks of protecting himself in this state. AFO has COUNTLESS quirks and the ONLY defensive quirks are the air shield from the 2nd movie, and the sludge guard he used on Endeavor a few episodes ago. No armor, no impact nullification, no impact recoil, he doesn't use ANYTHING. And he DEFINITELY has them. We know he used quirks like that in season 3 and he hasn't given those up. He's not LOSING quirks, he is willingly NOT using everything because he has rewind healing him. He has 120 new opponents with only 5 or so that can keep him still and he just doesn't even BOTHER. This isn't for the king. This is a job for his rook. And right on cue, here comes Machia. Except...he's NOT here on the side of AFO. Shinso is standing on him brainwashing him. A MASSIVE high risk play to bring the rook that drew a line ACROSS THE COUNTRY like this. One can only wonder what went down to create anything CLOSE to a situation like this. So we return to the Machia battleground against the Liberation commander. Well he has a giant sound emitter to awaken Machia on the orders of AFO just like Spinner had for Kurogiri. And we get one of THE best team ups to come out of this show you just don't see coming. Mount Lady and Yui Kodai. Kodai is among the weaker members of Class B that needs a lot of support for her quirk to best be utilized. Here? She is all that's needed instead of a massive combo. The UNLIMITED support. Just keep handing giant tools to Mount Lady and she has the best equipment she could ask for. And no two ways about it, Mount Lady is NOT thinking about arresting that Liberation leader. Mount Lady strangely got Midnight's mask after the 1st war so they must have made amends if Mount Lady didn't secretly always admire her. And if that is the case, she has a GRUDGE on this guy. He has a neat smog quirk where he can basically make a Nimbus from Dragon ball for one of his moves. And also likely SEVERELY poison Midnight if he's wearing a gas mask. But it's just too late and Shinso is the ONLY contingency for the heroes regarding Machia. They had NO ANSWERS for stopping him in season 6 at the ready. And even THEN it's not that easy. The sludge villain from the 2nd episode makes a return. And that took a WEATHER CHANGING TORNADO to beat him with ALL-MIGHT BEFORE. Something Deku hasn't even replicated to THIS DAY. We should be panicking...but as far as we have gotten into the show it should be apparent, one MAJOR thing that was not present all that time ago was an elemental fighter. And this guy is weak to pretty much EVERY element. And who should join that demonstration but Mina, who melts CLEAR THROUGH MACHIA CLAWS NOW. She's been using Deku's percentage control up til now for her viscosities. But a major thing different from her and Deku is she is NOT a stockpiler. So that 100% won't change like it will for Deku. Much less ONLY increase which is OFA's design. So she goes to Todoroki and Bakugo instead who have their condense and releasing maximum power in an instant. Mina has been behind most of the show, but has now learned from Deku's % system, Kirishima's unbreakable, and Bakugo and Todoroki's Endeavor training and now she can ONE SHOT the sludge villain and possibly stop MACHIA with an elemental advantage with enough stamina training. But we also have the 1st exploration of her quirk recoil which is completely absent up til now. She shoots acid her body makes? She can get dehydrated and loses her resistance losing all skin color. Leaving burns. A HEFTY recoil. And out of inspiration Shinso makes his gutsiest move to brainwash Machia, ONE SHOT THE ENTIRE REMAINING VILLAIN SQUAD and ride the guy to the AFO field with Kirishima. And this MIGHT work better because Machia has a quirk that blots out pain. So breaking him out MIGHT be harder. Well if there are TWO exceptions to this situation, they are BOTH here. One is Prime AFO. If there is an upper limit to ANYTHING that can be overcome, it is him likely to be able to break Machia out. Well Prime AFO is WELL above Machia. The 2nd reason is JUST Machia. As a several quirk holder, vestiges might be in play. So brainwashing him on his own might not be totally absolute with interference on the inside. But even when he's broken out of brainwashing...he doesn't support his master. He was abandoned. He is AFO's rook and like a chess piece was sacrificed for a better position. Machia is NOT ok with this. And we see why AFO likely hid him in the 1st place. I REALLY don't think Injured AFO would have been able to control Machia all that well. And since AFO predicted he could lose to All-Might's full strength, didn't want his loyalty to be questioned for lack of strength. The REASON Machia didn't accept Shigaraki in Season 5. With what AFO is holding back NOW with little effort to the point of not caring to defend himself, I do NOT see him able to do that when he was still on life support. But now he's paid the price of his arrogance in his new power with AFS and now is having MOUNTAINS THROWN AT HIM. The press who has been ENDLESS jerkwads to the heroes across the show make their appearance to report on Deku vs Shigaraki. They have caused the school and people like Deku nothing but headaches. Demanding unwanted interviews, pestering the unrelated parties or just CHILDREN. And not to mention the one who was mad at Endeavor for answering the press instead of being a hero...while everyone else demanded the opposite because he had no right. They now turn around to show the world in genuine support of those trying to help. And none more than Izuku Midoriya. (Pour one out for the reporter who slandered Bakugo saying he was likely to join the league with his temper. That guy DID NOT come to fix things.) And we see EVERY MOVIE EXCLUSIVE CHARACTER. Melissa Shield, the kids in the 2nd movie, and Rody with his siblings. They ALL watch Shigaraki and Deku fight in a giant energy wave that is getting bigger by the second. (Deku's stockpile energy appears to be SURGING here. We may be moving up to a new OFA level there as well!) AFO's answer to all these issues? Win. He just WINS. He ONE SHOTS EVERYONE. He rips open Mount Lady, OBLITERATES MACHIA, AND MAKES DARK SHADOW A THING OF THE PAST. No one is standing, no one is left. And he just HEALS what he didn't even care to block with rewind. They are out of answers, out of power, and no one can do ANYTHING. So AFO walks up to Hawks and takes his quirk as a symbol of his victory over all of their efforts, and now he's free to help himself to ALL OTHER QUIRKS HERE. Thankfully we have Mineta being a hero and stopping him by PLEADING with him to take his quirk instead of Tokoyami. And to prove he doesn't need any of their quirks, leaves to be shown as yet another heroic failure for the news to see. THANK GOD because if he remembered he wanted Whirlwind we would be in TROUBLE with AFO boosters on that quirk. KEEP TOP 10 QUIRKS AWAY FROM HIM. (Also if AFO said I would look as ridiculous as you with that hair, I would remind AFO he once had naval laser. And may have posed like freaking Aoyama to use it.) Next time, we need a miracle to stop AFO from interfering with Shigaraki vs Deku.

Next episode is probably gonna be one of the best of the season. Don't wanna give any kind of hint but it's gonna be crazy.

Anyone who has read the manga, or watched the preview knows. I'm literally sitting at the edge of my seat waiting for the next episode. It's actually gonna be insane. I would argue it might become one of the best episodes in the series, just because of what it'll entail.
