so it actually isnt about the sweet/salty combo its intended so that you can work in the field while still getting a nice little snack and not getting your dirty hands all over the food since washing your hands isnt a thing in the field.

My dad grew up in Centralia, Illinois. He would add peanuts to his soda. However his soda would not be Coke but it would be RC.
