I worked at a zoo and was talking with the Zoo's General Curator. He was saying '...and the animals...' and I said, 'I thought we were animals.' He smiled, shaking his head and replied, 'No, we're something else.' I never got clarification from him about that, but his gentle correction has stuck with me.

What an enlightening conversation full of authenticity and a faith in God. Roseanne, I'm sure you notice the left always tells us to use our voices or speak your truth. That is because they do not understand that it is action, like our animal friends, not words that tell us all we need to know. My 89 year old grandma never said to many words she always gave us looks, a stare, or a smile and we knew exactly how she felt about something we did/said just from that. May God continue to bless you and thank you for your gift of humor, it has meant so much to so many people. Also, may God bless the people in California during this horrible tragedy. Please people of California see the actions of your leaders in this tragedy not their words.

I don't know I'm trying to navigate everything on my own with zero help. No family no one and found out what parental alienated is first hand cause I don't know what it was. I didn't have the words to protect myself from someone that lied and flipped everything.

I’m late to this one. Words (almost) fail me!! Well, they don’t, but be warned, I will ramble on and on.😂 I always watch this podcast no matter the guest. And each episode is always great. In fact? I usually think “Okay, this episode was the best one, so far. They’re all “fanfuckingtastic” but this one was the best so far..” and whatnot. I’m stunned at how much this particular episode resonated with me. For a number of reasons. I’m “shook” as the younger folks say. I’ve always been drawn to Roseanne. Roseanne is a real one. We all struggle..we all lie..make mistakes..sometimes egregious mistakes..we’re all negative at times and we become overwhelmed..but if you’re trying to get back to the “real”..the essence of “YOU”..of WHO you are and of who each human can and must BE..if you’re genuine and willing to self reflect..to make honest apologies for your missteps..well, the intent behind all of that..matters. And if a person is willing to do these kinds of things..self reflect..make as many reasonable amends as possible..to remain open and try to be as kind as possible..as I hear Roseanne is always doing..I’m good with them. Roseanne is real. She has God in her..she is a child of God..as are we all. It sounds high handed but it isn’t. It doesn’t feel high handed. I’m humbled and so grateful to be able to say it!! This guest really “helped” me. I love words. I’m a logophile. But I’ve long recognized that words can be so problematic. What Berry is saying makes nothing but sense to me. I love how he is saying it!! We ARE animals. Words are important but they’re like a “foreign” language. Does that make sense? Babies do not come out from the womb speaking “words” do they?? And, yet, if one is a reasonably “good” parent? Those babies communicate their needs remarkably well, don’t they? Don’t they, though!! 😂😂 Mine sure as hell did!! I’m a person who has what others consider a “gift” with animals. I love that I “vibe” with all animals. I love animals. I’ve spent many years “helping” animals. But, really? They help me. They’re a gift from God!! Animals don’t lie because they communicate with their bodies. As do people. When we see animals acting “sketchy” it’s because they’ve been confused, and most likely, abused and mistreated..BY HUMANS AND THEIR POOR COMMUNICATION. Im not yelling..I’m just too lazy to find the italicized font right now. 😂 At age three? I had an “existential crisis” lol. 😂 I was a deep thinker. I got “in trouble” a lot. People got frustrated. I’m not inherently a troublemaker but I am and always have been a girl or woman who will say “it.” The uncomfortable thing..whatever that is. 😂 I’ll try to be “nice” but I will say “it.” I would get a “talking to” about those truth telling moments. I’m in agreement with Berry and Roseanne..we’re taught or groomed or “brainwashed” when we’re very young. For me? The lying to someone or for someone but getting “in trouble” if I “lied” to the folks in authority..the very same ones who had asked me to lie to someone FOR them..for me, this was a mixed message and, due to a dysfunctional home, there were too many mixed messages. I’ve always felt like Eleanor Rigby..wearing the face that I keep in a jar by the door..and I have been disingenuous in my past. But, I’m over it!! I’m tired of always being false..especially for PC reasons!! 🙄 I’m just done!! I’ve apologized to all my loved ones for my past disingenuousness. They’re not getting it. Many have cut me off. It hurts but it’s also okay. It’s best if I stay relatively quiet for now. I watch and listen to this podcast because it does help. Sure, folks will say I’m looking for affirmation..and, to a certain degree, that’s true..but I’m so tired of being so many people. Not just two faced! Many faced. That’s not what God wants for us, imo, it’s not why we’re here. I cannot be perfect. But I can try to stay by God’s side. I can ask God for help and if I listen..I believe He will guide me. Watching and listening to this podcast is a gift from God. Blessings are everywhere. I’ll falter. I’ll fail. But I will always self reflect. Self reflection is NOT selfish or narcissistic. I’m always surprised at how many folks that I love listening to so much say they started thinking-or they remember thinking-deeply about things-in a “different” way..at about age three!! As stated above..I had a “crisis” at age three. Since then I’ve carried the labels of being “overly sensitive” or that I have “mental health issues”..which means..I’m crazy! And, evidently, I always have been! But that is not my story. That’s the story that’s been told to and about me. And I’m done with it. 🤷🏼♀️ I, myself, love children..I love them always..but I love them when they’re still so honest..you know, the times when they’re bringing up “awkward” things..I love that!! I love animals. I’m one of those assholes who says I love animals more than people. And I do. Animals do not lie. They’re just..being. It’s such a great thing. I’m not particularly”gifted” in any way that any other person isn’t. Not even with animals. Everyone has that. I refused to let that get beaten out of me. I communicate with others-all others-with my whole self. And I listen to their whole self. Easy. My former “career” had been as an activities director, for many years, in a retirement home..the same retirement home..a home that also had many folks with impaired memory, dementia..etc. I thrived in this career. I’m not formally educated; I started as a housekeeper a hundred years ago and I moved up, lol!! Not by doing anything nasty! 😁 I left a long while back due to being pregnant with what we knew to be our last child and I had the good fortune to become a full time stay at home mother and wife. We had to tighten our belts but it was well worth it, imo. I’m thinking of volunteering at this stage in my life as my children are grown now and, as of yet, I’m not blessed with “grand-littles.” Someday. I really loved my job..I hate the politics but I loved working with and getting to know the folks!! So much to learn. A wealth of knowledge. A treasure trove. I could listen to these folks all day!! Many of the people I’ve been around had lost the ability to use words to “effectively”communicate. Not my word, that “effectively.” We did pretty well using body language; it’s effective enough!! Or maybe some of the folks verbally communicated in a somewhat “guttural” manner..or they were relearning after a stroke..or whatever. I allowed them to tell me how to proceed. I watched. I listened but not only with my ears. So many of the folk’s relatives would ask “How can you stand her/him?? It makes me crazy!” I replied that I had never known these folks “before” and I suppose that made it “easier” or whatever..they weren’t “my” parent, etc so we didn’t have that to work around. For me? They had always been “like that” and, so, I just moved forward. People say “The world needs people like you, A!” And that I’m “here” to “help” the folks in the retirement home or to “help” animals but, the truth is, and I’ll admit that it’s selfish..they’ve all helped ME!! They’ve truly helped me. They continue to help me. I communicate the same way with the animals in “rehab” that I am involved with. The animals who have been abused. Not simply injured or feral..but abused. Neglected. I’ve got six “feral” cats on our property as well as in and out of the human residence, lol. I’ve gotten their medical needs taken care of. They’re healthy and good. The biggest bonus for these cats? No worrying about making more kittens, if you get my drift. More importantly? They’re not “feral” at all!! They’re cats so they’re easily rattled but if they trust a person? They’re big, fat house cats. Happy, purring..sweet. Plus? There are no mice in our feed stores..either food stored for people or our other animals. They’re an absolute joy!! For me. They get me riled up but we all UNDERSTAND each other. All of “my” animals understand me. They look to me for things just as I look to them for things. Here I said words failed me!! What a big liar!! I just can’t help it. This episode was astounding. God help me, I nearly fast forwarded through the first ad..but I didn’t..and I’m so glad I didn’t. The “Byrna” ad had me in hysterics!! I thought “There she is!! She’s the fucking best!!” I laughed until I cried. It was soooo good! I’m so happy to have Roseanne and Jake in my life. I doubt this will be read..by Roseanne or Jake..or by anyone because it did turn into a ramble. But, if someone has read it, take good care and thank you for your patience. Remember, like Berry says..in a roundabout way..use caution with how many fucks you’re willing to give. Some folks do not deserve any of the fucks you have to give. Sad but true. 🙂💕🙏🏼🕊

I guess this will spark quite a debate. Creation has been described in Genesis 1 as the moment God SAID, "Light, BE." And the Gospel of John: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." This is quite a conversation. Thanks for having it.

We love you Mom!!!! ❤❤❤❤ I'm not a man but I am fascinated by you and I absolutely adore you and I know of at least 50 other women who truly do too and we've all been raising our kids with YOUR TV show because even after 40 years there's nothing good on tv that we can all actually watch together AS a family and learn more about topics other shows STILL haven't hit. YOU'RE not only THEE "Domestic Goddess," but you ARE a ray of light put here by God to help unite lost souls and bring them into the warmth of your shining spirit, you are a gift we ALL deserve and needed and I'm happy you've been around long enough to see how your own life has impacted so many young people who are now as old as you were on the show. There's a lot of good people who love you and support you they're just too busy finding time between work, kids and sleep tell you as often as you need to hear.

thou shalt have dominion over all the beasts," Genesis 1:26 where God instructs humans to "have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.". Meaning: It signifies that humans are given the responsibility to care for and manage the animal kingdom, essentially acting as stewards over all living creatures on Earth. Key points to remember: Interpretation debate: While some interpret "dominion" as absolute power over animals, many theologians emphasize the need for responsible stewardship and care for the natural world. Context in Genesis: This verse is part of the creation story, where God gives humans a special role in relation to the rest of creation.
