Coincido y, Es curioso que las personas que hacen comedia por lo general son muy inteligentes y Buenos para el análisis crítico. Yo creo que es por eso que fueron a los primeros que quisieron censurar.
@pa45108 күн бұрын
@@robertovr9976 Yes, but perhaps the censorship you refer to doesn't have to do with critical analysis from a comedian as such, but something much deeper. Comedy is the most attacked expression of art in all totalitarian systems, since in comedy the reaction to it is spontaneous, emotional, unfiltered by any rational process of the mind; thus laugh just happens, even in an audience with a different set of beliefs from that of the comedian. The funny is just funny and we can’t control our sudden burst of laughter. That event challenges the platonic utopia of having the whole society under a single psique (soul) frame. And even brings down the definition of humankind as a mere group of blank slate beings subject to malleability by any social engineering. Comedy is, philosophically speaking, a very tough matter. The Name of the Rose, the great masterpiece by Eco, is a good depiction of that intent of suppression of laughter motivated by supposedly superior intentions. The parallel and somewhat antithetical interpretation of it all, though, that one could make is that: by trying to criticize certain trends of thought from Middle Ages and perhaps making a metaphor against some extreme conservative movements of the 20ths century, Eco, without even knowing it, was foreseeing what would be the mantra of leftist ideology, on this subject, in the 21th century. It's kind of surreal (and very obscurely demented) that the Left, once known by its defense of free speech and asking not to take everything so seriously, has turned nowadays into totalitarianism eager for a dull world with a single mind set. But they’ll fail. Suppression on laughter is unnatural. It always has and always will be.

People seriously disregard the trades. I grew up with a friend that quit school at grade 10. He started out as a carpenter and saved his money, bought properties and started building homes on them. In Covid home prices flew through the roof and he had piles of property. Between him and his crew of five he made 44 million a year for about 4 years straight. Now hes still building homes, has apartment complexes and numerous properties living life on the high end. Moral of the story is don't disregard a tradesman he might be worth a lot more than you think.

Yeah, I went through high school in the late 1970s. Our high school offered Mechanical/Architectural drafting, a Woodshop, an Auto shop, a Machine shop, and a Graphics/printing shop. But those of us who were drawn to the trades and aspired to be tradesmen were regarded as "Lower Class." Faculty said, "You will be much better off getting a Bachelor's in computer programming". I followed my natural talent into the trades.

I don't believe my sons developmental paediatrician when he says it's just better diagnosis. That's b.s. If cancer had tripled in that short amount of time the world would be up in arms but because autism isn't a killer although massively life altering people don't take notice
