If you were never born what's one major thing, good or bad, that you think would be different? I would think that if I was never born then Baywatch Nights would've never been made. I had nothing to do with that show directly but I did write David Hasselhoff all the time with just the phrase "Baywatch but X-Files"

I’m convinced that if I had never been born, Metallica would’ve never made the album “Load”, and thus, never made “Reload”. And their hair would not only stay long, but would uncover the secrets to the world’s most luxurious mane. Oh, and Christmas music would be banned from all retail centers. I would off myself now, but the damage has been done.

I’m sad…😢 I thought this was my favorite movie…. But actually never understood it… my ADD… never let me enjoy it fully. I think I just got that he had an angel and that the angel finally got his wings. I didn’t understand what the younger boy was running for, I didn’t know what was wrong with the old pharmacist, I didn’t understand that the boy grew up, I didn’t recall him chasing the maid… I don’t remember the pool or why the floor opened… my moving around so much never really being able to sit and watch I missed the whole thing!! Except for when the bell 🛎️ ring the angel get its wings 🪽 😅 Thank you for helping! Now I will re watch it! Merry Christmas!

The part at 11:42 always bothered me until i realized that George wasn't planning to kill himself just by jumping off the bridge, he was going to jump in and let himself freeze to death

@gfbm13 - And then, a complete stranger was (as far as he could tell) in dire need of assistance, so George risked his life to help.

This video will become like a mini-xmas tradition for me. The Rifftrax is great too but but too much of a commitment. I just watched the full movie again last night. Fun fact, the gymnasium with the pool is in Beverly Hills high School and still exists today. That's kinda weird. It'd be close to a 100 year old school in what has to be one of the wealthiest areas in the usa.

What a movie! There is SO much in this film. It's deals with some pretty serious stuff. God, I love it! BTW....the pool where George and Mary dance at the high school...it is located at Beverly Hills High School in CA...and it still exists.

"That doesn't seem so bad" That's because in the original story, without George existing, Mary ended up a battered housewife to some creep -- but this was deemed too dark for a family Christmas film, even one that includes suicide et al.

I hate when George dismisses Mary’s charming embroidery of a private joke between them. It’s cold and mean. He more than compensates later but it’s so rude at the time. Mary rightfully should have thrown him out on the spot. Luckily she didn’t.
