I just feel he failed to " mempertahankan hak dan mengutamakan kepentingan negara diatas segala yang lain, a primary responsibility of any nations top most leader. There are wars between nations being fought at this very moment and people dying by the thousands as a result because their leaders had no choice due to geopolitical and geostrategic considerations that will impact their countries interest in the future. This guy decided not to pay the AGs OT claim since there was opinion that our chances of winning was very slim.

I just feel he failed to " mempertahankan hak dan mengutamakan kepentingan negara diatas segala yang lain, a primary responsibility of any nations top most leader. There are wars being fought between neighbouring countries at this very moment. Their people dying by the thousands because their leaders had little choice. They had to defend their nations geopolitical and geostrategic importance because these considerations are deemed to have an impact on their countries interest in the future. Our guy had decided its a waste to pay the AGs OT claim after reading a written opinion that our chances of winning was very slim. By that logic if a nation that has a more powerful military decides it wants a piece of our territory, the PM could technically ask our armed forces to stand down and not defend our sovereignity. PM made a decission after watching a few youtube videos by military experts. But its ok. He shared the video with his fellow cabinet ministers so that they could give him thwir views. Most whom he felt were nothing but incompetent muppets.

From what I remember the Malaysian AGs office had shafted the entire Batu Puteh case that was being abitrated in the ICJ at that time. That included presenting Malaysia's historic claim to Batu Puteh. When questioned, it was claimed that the AG had exercised his discretion and powers. Atleast thats what I remember. 4:19. Now Tun saying our case was weak according to a few QCs written opinion. Instead he as the leader of the nation made the decission purely after reading a few queen councils opinion. He is now giving excuses that it was not his call because he had gathered his cabinet to ask their views and opinion. But he was the leader of the nation. The leader of the rulling government. He had a duty to protect the interest of the nation first and foremost. Giving up the claim that has been brought to court merely on a few legal councils opinion. Especially when it doesnt cost anything to argue our case no matter how slim our legal standing is ? Yet there are Malaysians who believe Tun M was the best PM we ever had.
