What shelves do you use to store your leverless controllers?
@VidVayder22 күн бұрын
It's this one (affiliate link): amzn.to/49BfVgw You can get one with a tray or one without. I have both. They vary in quality... the first one I got without the tray was perfect. I picked up a second but it's kind of wobbly so I had to stick something underneath one of the corners (like how you'd fix a wobbly table).

Regarding the CPT rule, from my understanding you can't have two buttons doing the same action. So in other words, even if you have an "Up" input from the "Dpad" and another one from the "Analog Stick" , it is not legal. But feel free to correct me if i'm wrong. Because i've asked about having two buttons for "Up" on my leverless (one coming from the Dpad and one coming from the Analog) but I was told it was not legal.

I’m not sure about this either. Vertibox said it’s legal, but I suspect it comes down to the governing body. Maybe it’s fine for some games but not CPT rules? I do think it’s possible to just pull the plug on one of the jumps though, but I haven’t tried so don’t take my word for that! Another option seems to be removing a switch and taping over the button so tournament runners know you’ve disabled it.

@@VidVayder Yeah i don't really know the rule for other games either as I'm just interested in SF6 competitively. But they kind of dictate what is legal or not for the most part. Like since they have decided that Up + Down = neutral, it's kind of became the norm (tell me if i'm wrong though). But well to be honest, people can just play whatever they want if they don't participate actively to a lot of tournaments. I think that those kind of things really become an issue if you're a very high profile player, or if it gives a very significant advantage. Otherwise i've seen rarely TO checking your controller.

Yeah exactly. Us normies playing online or locals are fine innit.

How much? That’s what’s going to define this controller’s success in a market full of some overpriced controllers. This will be a one of a kind controller so I imagine it won’t be cheap. Also gorilla hands like myself might have to miss out but we’ll see when the time comes. Here’s hoping it’s a reasonable price they slap on it. Another thing I need to stress as someone with hands and shoulder issues, is that an issue with hitboxes is that it rounds the shoulders due to the range of the buttons being close together. If there is a way to widen the range (split is asking for too much but anything close to that would be incredible), then this thing would be worth it for all of us in terms of longevity.

I believe their V1 was quite pricey because it was factory constructed/injection molded. Their website seems to be running now and they are advertising a black printed version which should be much less expensive. I am guessing they will be using 3D print going forward since the price would have been a huge barrier in the past. Or maybe they will use 3D print until they establish the concept and brand before offering a premium build.
