I didn’t really feel it beyond the usual latency I would get from remote play being online. But some people might be more sensitive to it. I wouldn’t ever play games that need high twitch reactions on remote play anyway, like multiplayer stuff.

I’m not good at visualising measurements. Is that considered a small room? If you feel like the room is small then Beam 2 is more than enough, it’s powerful. I would advise buying from Sonos directly if you can for their return policy and service.

Upload your save to cloud as it is. DO NOT CHOOSE THE ENDING YET. Make sure to turn off auto update. Then: 1. Go back into the game and choose Lord of Chaos ending (it should be the only one available to you). 2. After your trophy pops, exit the game. 3. Download that save file you uploaded earlier. 4. You will spawn and be at the point BEFORE you chose the Lord of Chaos ending. 5. Get Miquella's Needle (look up google on how to do that). 6. Kill Dragonlord Placidusax and use Miquella's Needle in his room. 7. Upload your save to cloud, overwriting the other one. Don't forget to turn off auto update. 8. Go back to the boss room (there is a bonfire there for quick travel) and choose a different ending. 9. After the trophy pops, exit the game and reload the save from cloud. 10. You should spawn at the point after you used Miquella's needle. 11. Go back to the boss room and choose the last ending.

Yeah, it's not for everyone. Mostly for a beginner I would say or someone who doesn't mind paying a bit more to get everything in one go. It does have a purpose, but someone who enjoys experimenting should probably look elsewhere. Sounds like GadgetRunnr are looking to make something more appealing to modders in the v3 though. Yes you can. You don’t need to have seen the credits before starting dlc right? Or be in NG+? If so then it’s fine. Get your endings then do dlc as long as you don’t overwrite that save file!

Haven’t tried SE but as far as I know the difference is that the HE has tactile face buttons and click like a mouse whilst the SE has membrane buttons (same as most other controllers). I like the clickiness of the buttons but it comes down to preference.

@@VidVayder Button spacing, the sturdier feel and the matte black finish. I wash my hands often but even after just a 30 minute session, the surface of the U16 became gunky. I thought the placement of the additional left thumb button (U16) vs left pinky (R16) would matter a lot but i don't really care for either at this time. I do prefer the fastening design on the U16 but the plastic body makes for the louder plastic sound compared to the R16 Black. The single acrylic top also has a lot more give and i noticed a very slight depression in the center of the U16 compared to the sandwiched design of the R16. The ability to adjust the "height" on the U16 is pretty interesting too, ended up using 3 backing sheets but because of the flex, the button height in relation to the rims are not consistent throughout all the buttons. I appreciate your reviews and insight. Thank you.

Pretty much nailed it 👍 build wise I also prefer the R, but I wish it was as easy to open up as the U. I recommend trying the Wind Engine switches if you haven’t already. It improves every model I’ve tried them with.

Sorry I don't have it with me to check right now. I've had a look on google and it seems that the answer is: It depends on what you're playing on the iOS. For example iOS PS4 remote play will have rumble and probably Apple Arcade too.

@ yeah I’ve been searching too and can’t find a straight answer. Weird to not have rumble considering it’s a selling point. My understanding is the G8 OG didn’t have rumble at all.

Well it definitely does have rumble because I tried it on my Nintendo Switch and it worked, so the motors are in there, but whether or not it works with iOS games will depend on the game and app.

That is probably a mistake on the listing. The top plate isn’t transparent enough for art. If you want black rims with art go for the U16. Although the spacing on buttons will be a bit wider than the R.

At this point in time, no. You would have to acquire the R16 top plate that has see through rims. If you message Haute42 on Aliexpress they MIGHT sell it to you separately, but don't be offended if they say no because I think the separate top plates are reserved for people who have faulty units etc. The other option is to outright buy the R16 and swap the rims around. You would end up with an R16 with black rims though. Not entirely a bad thing depending on your preference :)

All three of these come with Kailh Crystal Switches so they will feel the same. The button caps are also the same stock. Having said that, the M16 Plus has metal plates and to my fingers that makes it feel more responsive. Also, if you put Wind Engine switches on any of these it will improve the feeling of the buttons.

Thanks mate. In terms of performance, they all perform the same because they run on the same software and they have the same switches under the buttons. So your choice will come down to preference of certain things: 1. If you want wider spacing (your hands are big, or you don't mind stretching a little), the M Plus and the U fit that preference. R16 buttons feel closer together. 2. If you like rims for the looks and arcade feel, go for the U and R. 3. If you want to change your art, go for the U and R. If you think you will change the art regularly, the U is easy to take apart and put back together. 4. If you like a premium aluminium body, the M Plus feels amazing. Last I want to just say that no matter which one you choose, if you change the switches for Wind Engines the feel of the buttons will improve all three models. So like I said in the beginning, it's all down to preference on what you think you might need or want. For the price all of these are good choices but if you want to save a bit more, I would say a safe choice is the R16 and add Wind Engines to your basket. That's just my opinion though!

@@VidVayder I thought I grabbed the grace cuz I remember sitting at it first before doing my 2nd ending but after I backed up my game to do my 3rd one the grace was gone. Maybe it glitched out or I did something wrong. I guess I'll just play the whole game again why not lol

@MrFrost-fc8lr if you backed it up and turned off auto update the save should still be at the point where you had killed the boss and just returned to the room.

You can see exact details and numbers on the gp2040-ce website. As for the extra buttons, you can disable them if they’re in the way, and rebind them later if you feel like they could be useful 👍

No. You have to do NG+ now because you viewed an ending. In NG+ after you beat the boss, back up your save before choosing your ending.

I am pretty sure you can, yes. But it’s been years so I don’t remember the nuances. If you’re at the end of the game already you might as well give it a try.

Thank you! I recommend looking into the Haute42 controllers bro. They’re inexpensive, available from Amazon and Aliexpress and they have various sizes and styles to choose from. I have a video on my channel talking about all of them very briefly and also some long form reviews of most of them. The only one I would say to steer clear from is the smaller M model (the M Plus is great) because I heard that one has problems.

Fia’s ending doesn’t give you a trophy. Only: elden lord, age of stars (ranni) and lord of chaos. 3 ending trophies in total.

No this won’t work because the holes are larger and the plate underneath comes higher. It’s not possible to use the rims on the M16+.
