Before one of Harry's shows at the Westchester Theater in NY , the wife and I were walking through the parking lot kind of early. We heard music coming from a car, a VW Rabbit. The windows were open. Who's in the car but Harry and John Wallace. They were listening to some songs they were trying out for their next album (Legends of the Lost and Found?). Harry called us over and had us listen in! He asked what we thought! We were dumbstruck and were just able to jabber a few words of awkward praise. What a guy!

Cool story. He did seem like such a nice, cool guy. Not surprised to know he was. Nice event to pass on to your children's generations...

Sandy, my parents passed away a few years ago. Thanks for being friends with my parents. Carmine, gave up wall papering and painting. He went into roofing back in Huntington. He now lives in St Augustine, I hope all of your family are well and doing good. You should start a food bank in South Florida. There are a lot of homeless and people are going hungry. 💕 To you and your family.

I always wished Harry's kids would speak more about his dad to the public. We love harry its very personal but would cherish hearing about him and growing up with his children even though im sure he was on the road allot.

Did you know him? He played a concert at my high school in hmm 1974ish, because one of our teachers had served in Vietnam with Tom Chapin. We set up at hunger org at Locust Valley High School, and Mr. Parson's asked Tom if his brother would play. I remember standing out in the parking lot waiting for him to bring him to the auditorium where he was playing. Such a wonderful person, and great musician.

Harry walks up to greet st.Peter at the pearly gates with his folk guitar in his hand singing alleluia , alleluia …st Peter said oh no another hippy singer and what have you done w your days on earth ? Harry says we’ll Peter I don’t like to brag but I did over 200 concerts a yr making 2 million a yr but I was always broke because I donated it all to feed the hungry …then I started a food bank too to feed the poor just like Jesus did ….Come right in my son we have room for guys just like you …..

@@jennifersodaro7585 I make no judgements, .. no idea of their relationship status was, and no idea what the lawyers took, or the difficulties of the litigation, as I do not know her.. I was just passing along internet information, that’s why I said “allegedly” awarded 12 million..

@@shipsahoy1793 Thank you for answering this. I had an opportunity to meet and talk to Harry but of course I do not know anything personal. I am a long time lawyer and have very mixed feelings about my fellow lawyers. I did see a post on Saturday by Michael Moore which was recognizing the fact that Harry did 100 concerts a year for charity. A video of Springsteen on KZbin talks about Harry saying he does one concert for himself and one for the other guy. His music meant everything to me and it was ironic that I was out with my aunt Friday night, I played some of his music for her and talked about meeting him. I have been thinking about him a lot lately, then the next morning, the post from Moore says that Saturday was the 40th anniversary of his death. My soul was so moved by just a brief encounter with him and it causes me to miss him when people talk about a silly duchess who only, in my opinion, does charitable work for her own ego and attention. Harry is irreplaceable and he is missed.

@@jennifersodaro7585 Very interesting.. it’s easy for unscrupulous people to latch onto good people who happen to be well off, so it must be tough to let your guard down or get screwed by giving your trust away to another person. It is a sad reality indeed, I would say. I am just an ordinary average guy these days, so I can be a nice guy in general, but if I was super loaded, I could see myself having a tendency to be extremely guarded.
