He is not as introvert as people think. He talks to people he is comfortable with or the people that he finds interesting. His vibe doesn't match with Bollywood stars so he decides to stay quiet when he is around them. Also they speak only English and his English is weak so he avoids being a part of conversations. But when he is around the people he is comfortable with, he transforms into an extrovert. Plus his persona can change based on environment and needs. Like on Camera and on stage, he can't be an introvert because that's his job.

Diljit is like a breath of fresh air in this show-off dominated showbiz. So beautiful, so unadulterated, so pure, as Anupama correctly observed in the interview.
