What do you recommend to strengthen hair my scalp looks just like hers 🥺
@KrissypooHairView2 жыл бұрын
Trims every 6 to 8 weeks, let up on the tight installs, not leaving extensions or hairstyles in past 2 months, giving your hair a week break and doing a (deep condition & protein treatment each month) before adding another extension install, and most importantly getting your Blood work checked to make nothing is going on internally.

There’s a fine line between “protecting” your hair and “hiding” your hair. I think we have to have that balance of protective style and wearing our real hair out also when it’s in a protective style we can’t neglect it! Good job looking forward to seeing her healthy hair journey.

God, I see myself with this client. My hair was similar the last time I went to a salon and now, though I've been trying to cut my hair myself these past few months, I have real short breakage and chin length strands and lots of layers. It makes it impossible to wear my hair natural because the unevenness is amplified with the lopsided curls, lol. But when I got it cut and straigned at a salon, about 8 years ago, I remember squealing in joy that my hair was so lightweight and flowy. It was short and thin, but I loved it. Thankfully, I still live in the city with that same salon so I think I'll make an appointment when my car is fixed to go back. Oh, and I'm making changes, like getting satin pillow cases, a larger silk or satin wrap that won't fall off when I'm sleeping, and chucking the bottle of clarifying conditioner I stupidly bought, which dries my hair out. I don't use nearly enough products on my hair to justify having it, and I think that dryness is adding to the hair breaking off.

Anytime ive gotten a wrap it made my hair sweat back out to a fro within a few mins of having the plastic off. Any idea of whats going wrong?
@KrissypooHairView Жыл бұрын
Somehow you’re grabbing Heat. Make sure that if you wrap it, the dryer should be on cool. At most 10mins under the dryer, I would really shoot for 5mins. Immediately take the plastic off because it’s similar to a processing cap, the longer you keep the plastic wrap on the more you’re trapping in heat from your scalp which will cause your scalp to sweat.
