I have dealt with a couple of companies with warranty it can be challenging. They usually willing to send you the parts, but they want you to do testing which usually you’re talking electrical so you better on a multi meter. I have to say Lectric has done cartwheels for me but if they look at my account, they see that I have purchased four bikes from them, and now I have inside contacts so I pretty much can get anything I want 😊 I think with a lot of these companies it’s all in how you approach them. If you’re a jerk you’re probably going to get treated badly if you work with them, they seem to be fine. The most frustrating thing is the fact that they’re 12 hours ahead of us so we never get immediate responses.

Hi Richard. Great video. I did tons of research before we bought ours. But I was fortunate and was introduced to ebikes by my son. He had a couple and I got to ride one of his. I could not believe how fun it was. My husband was on board right away so we got two. We actually ended up selling them as mine was too big for me. But my second one is perfect.

Great discussion Richard. Generally a person gets what they pay for. I bought a bicycle 35 years ago and it cost me about $1000. My neighbor bought a cheeper bike. Mine had better bearings, chains, etc. and I could always out pace the neighbor. So if you can afford a good bike, buy it.

Good video. The sad truth is many people only know of ebikes as electric motorcycles when they go flying by them. They do not realize how many passed them respectfully out on the trail as they just think it is a bicycle. That tends to give ebikes in general a bad rap.

When I got my first ebike, I did a lot of research looking at many reviews, and discussions. Court from EBR (electric bike Review) had lots of reviews and discussions and his videos influenced me a lot. Another was Bolton bikes in California. So, the point is what you said, 'Do your research'. DO NOT BE IN A HURRY, GET INFORMED. Thanks RIP, I hope your discussion today will help people.

Hey Terry, I watched Court from EBR too a lot. And also Bolton bikes. I got mine over 3 years ago and Court really influenced me to the Magnum brand. That is what I bought and have not been disappointed at all. I love my ebike. What did you purchase?

@@Marilynlovesebiking April 2020 I bought a Rad Rover Step thru. The next year, 2021, I installed the Bolton motor upgrade and watched Mr. Citizen's video on how to install the motor. In 2022 Citizen introduced me to the Magicycle Ocelot, and Richard's videos convinced me to buy a Magicycle in early 2023. RIP even got me a replacement power supply when mine went poof. I had bad internet here in the high desert of Idaho until July of last year when another carrier arrived & now I post some videos as well.

PS I would have loved an ebike in college. I rode my regular bike all over town. in regards to my ebike, someone asked me about how far could I go and about the battery.
