I go first + you surrender = I win the duel. I go second - I surrender = I lose the duel. I go first again + you surrender again = I win the match. The square root of winning a duel is winning the coin toss.

@@evilproducer9647oh please, tenpai is just a more proactive way of playing stun and floodgates full power tenpai won't let you do anything to them in the battle phase and you can't disrupt them easily in the main phase against their field spell two things can be wrong at the same time, it's wrong for the game to become coin toss based and it's wrong for konami to design a deck that is essentially a go 2nd solitaire

Pretty much, makes all other decks unplayable. Zombies,pendulum, dragons,insects, darklords, angels, six sam, et cetera. Its impossible to play these decks now a days. First turn you will never be able to do anything, than your next turn, if you got one, you will be negated to hell😭😭

As someone who plays a red dragon arch fiend deck.. I agree I go second get negated 2x I just scoop bc I can’t do shit lol if I don’t go first and set up a red supernova dragon it’s a high chance that i’m just cooked 😂😂

It's still irrelevant cuz a) That chapter of the video is also written "Drytron vs Mathmech" b) The deck may not be Mathmech but you can see that the player is playing Mathmech cards so it's not that far off c) It doesn't change the meaning if my question, cuz I'm just asking if we haven't seen that duel on a previous video

They should just do so if you used maxx c, you could not activate other card effects in hand for the rest of that turn. Maxx c was made so you had a better chance going 2, not to use 200 handtraps afterwards.

I'm getting so sick of decks playing their full first turn uninterrupted, ending on several disruptions, but still having extra disruption with hand traps that require no commitment, resources or nothing. Just free disruption they happened to draw. Hand traps should have the same clause as Fuwaross that you can only use it if you control no cards. I will die on that hill.

Honestly, this is half the reason why going second is so cringe. You go first, you only have to deal with handtraps. You go second, you have to deal with whatever board they put up AND handtraps. People love to use this argument against maxx c and only maxx c, when in reality, it applies to most common handtraps in the game.
