@@Jaddas Yeah, that was nothing special about the Gimmick Puppet player. Sometimes "comebacks" are about the person who's winning either blowing it or just sucking in general. When you see Zelantis use its effect for no reason, that's already a sign. If you ever see Agave Dragon, that's another pretty heavy sign. Flame Banshee is not a pure Snake Eyes card. You can play it in some variants of Fire King, but it's mostly for the Melodious version because you can use it to search a Snake-Eyes card with your Melodious combo. A bunch of signs of a bad player on that turn, finishing off with a Flame Banshee with none of its effects used lol.

Well like I guess the argument is you can ash/imperm/nib yadda yadda a chimera deck Or you can remove the diabellze with your own engine Essentially, if you built your deck well you have a chance to play and prevent yourself from getting ASFed So there's counterplay, whether it's handtraps or board breakers or just your engine There ISN'T really counterplay to flip ASF they either have it or they don't (The same goes for gazelle but I also just think handrip shit is always unhealthy no matter what)

I hate it to go in a game and instant loss to gimmick puppet without handtraps or they start with field spell because of the brutal consistent ftk. In 80 percent they ftk and you cannot do something and you have 0 turns to play. Instant loss games only because you have the wrong opponnent and/or lost coin flip? Consistent ftk's shouldnt be allowed. And than plus 8 maxx c's? Wtf Short: start a game and instant loss and you can't do something against it

You don't play Labrynth if you think Maxx C is bad against Labrynth. It's an upstart at worst if they chain it one of your Welcomes. If you open both Welcomes it's either PoG or forces an awkward Bigwelcome activation. If you open Stovie you're forced to not activate it or your opponent gets another draw.

Honestly, I find it very hard to get invested in a deck that actually makes me interested in the special summon spam to combo out meta. But I just might have to try Chimera after watching this video.

You're looking at the game from the wrong axis. "Special summon spam meta" doesn't mean anything. You play the game by special summoning. It's core to the game's identity and there's nothing inherently wrong with it because at its best it allows for a very unique amount of flexibility and vast and interactive option trees, albeit in the span of only a few turns. If you qualify what's interesting and what's not by more realistic standards, then you'll have a better time. Try looking for "Interactive" instead of "Doesn't special summon spam". Conversely, if you hate comboing then this might just not be the game for you. But probably don't superimpose the standard based on that alone because it's gotten exceedingly old after hearing it for the 10,000th time.
