Great video! 👍 I have the V1 and I still enjoy it alot. A great flyer with unlimited vertical. I especially love the "wooosh" sound it makes on highspeed unpowered flyby, which can be heard on your vid, too It's nice that they improved the screws, the ones on the V1 are a little bit flimsy.

So Hobby King send you a free aircraft to review in the UK - but when I go to purchase it its £179.39 and the only shipping option is from Global , so postage comes in at another (at best £89.00) worst £109.18 so that's a good (at best £268.39) before HMRC take a bite for Import Tax - its one expensive V2 for us meek mortals that live in the UK and have to purchase our aircraft.... thanks but no thanks....

Temporary shipping issue from EU warehouse apparently. Told me they are trying to resolve it. Just have to be patient buddy.

Hi, its true that i can fly with 3s or 4s without change propeller?

Yes. 4S more fun.

Does it come with the stickers already on the airframe, or do you put those on?
@EssentialRCАй бұрын
Pre-applied.
@deltadart8244Ай бұрын
Eh, too bad. That's a deal breaker for me. I'll have to contact the company and ask for a model without the decals/stickers pre-applied.

Looks like a fantastic flyer. I was interested until I saw the cost of delivery. Unfortunately hobbyking shutting down their UK warehouse has now priced themselves out of the hobby..

Hopefully it will be available to UK customers from the EU warehouse at a reasonable price in the near future.

do the aileron servos lock up like the V1 did at high speed
@EssentialRC2 жыл бұрын
If you watched the vid I suspect you'd have your answer. Can't imagine why a servo would 'lock up'. Don't really understand what that means.
@HFamilyDad2 жыл бұрын
Nice, but HobbyKings postal costs are nearly as much as the model which makes it unreachable for me in the UK.
@EssentialRC2 жыл бұрын
Just because it's only available in HK warehouse doesn't mean its a good idea to order it from there if you're in UK 😆

What's the top speed on that power glider? Is it faster than the crescendo evolution 🤔

No idea. Not measured it. Don't think it really matters. Was more concerned with how it flies.

Hi, I am a new pilot looking to get more into the hobby, I alread have some basic flying experience (from the eachine warbirds) and I was wondering if bigginer pilot like me could have a nice time flying this plane?
@EssentialRC2 жыл бұрын
Yes but advise you get help from an experienced RC pilot first time you fly it
@PericlesParaponiaris2 жыл бұрын
@@EssentialRC Thanks for the quick reply! Unfortunatelly, I do not know any experienced pilots in my area. I am looking for a plane, that is in the range of 100 - 180 euros and is begginer friendly, but I will also be able to also enjoy in the future, as an intermiediate pilot. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks for the help!
@@EssentialRC Thanks for the quick reply and the help! I did check the FOX V2, but it is a bit above my badget, and I think that 2.3 meters is a bit too long. What do you think about the "Durafly Prime Tundra PT1200", the "Swiss J-3 Piper Cub" or the "Durafly SlowPoke" from hobby king? One again, thanks for your time and help, I appriciate it!

I wonder if you put a long range fpv system on it...

You could but there are better RC aircraft for that. This flies best with no added weight and nothing added to the fuselage externally to create drag.

I’m sorry but I will not be ordering one of these. The UK warehouse is no more, and the EU warehouse does not ship to the UK. I’ve just checked and the cheapest shipping option from the Global warehouse is £143 to send it to the UK.
@EssentialRC2 жыл бұрын
I'm aware of the UK shipping problems. They are trying very hard to solve it.
@sputniksam2 жыл бұрын
@@EssentialRC I’m not implying that HK are at fault. I’ve noticed since the start of this year the changes to importing to the UK. I’ve had three Banggood orders cancelled with the reason given that they cannot ship to the UK. Even some European dealers I’ve used over the years have now stopped shipping to the UK.
@Ouch.2 жыл бұрын
I fail to see why you are still supporting Hobby King for us UK model flyers. The truth for us is that this model retails at £180 and postage from HK is a further £100. These crazy prices are prohibitive for all UK modellers. HK withdrew from the UK market leaving their UK staff unemployed and their UK customers without any support. I beleive you should stop showcasing their products here in the UK.
@EssentialRC2 жыл бұрын
My understanding is that shipping to the UK from EU warehouse is a temporary problem and they are trying very hard to solve it. Why would you even consider buying large models from HK warehouse. It's obvious the shipping will be expensive 😆. I have made a lot of orders with HK over the years, buying from UK, EU and HK warehouses mostly without issue. If I did have a problem it was always resolved by talking to their customer support folks. I'll be continuing supporting them thanks very much. 😉
