ADVICE If you went up to 2600 calories and saw no weight gain and then 3000 with same results means you were still at a calorie defecate, you need to eat more than you burn, i personally am 6'3" and i weight 185 lbs. i used to weigh 165 less than 2 years ago. I have gradually increased my calories and am at 4000 right now, you need to find out how many calories you burn and have a surplus. I think eating shitty food is okay sometimes but you will end up putting on too much fat, eating clean whole grains and fruits and veggies along with lots of protein, fat and carbs is better, also why would you not work out, yes it burns calories but then you eat a few hundred more, your burning then so it makes no difference, working out will build muscle which weighs more than fat and if you aren't working out while eating "milkshakes" and junk you will just put on fat. Just my input as a health and fitness specialist major.

saying it's hard to gain weight u need to eat less shit which means less calories so now u have to eat more healthy food more protein (there's a ratio between protein take based on body sized), green veggies with micro nutrients then fill up the rest of the calories with carbs. Also u need to build lean muscle since ur skinny fat. I'm was never the thick guy so I trained extremely hard ate lots of chicken and tuna and other proteins with veggies and high quality carbs. Now I've gained 3 pounds in 8 weeks of Summer all muscle no fat because I ate right and trained up U need to eat less shit calories with no nutrients, eat some more nutrient rich foods. Note I'm actually into fitness and somewhat educated in the topic go watch some athlean - X

Hey Pete, this video has been really interesting and relatable to me as I am in almost the exact same situation, I have visited the doctors and nutritionists a lot to talk about how I can gain weight easier as my metabolism is also extremely high. If you could keep us updated about this journey your on, I would really love to see it, also I'm interested to see whether or not you'd like to talk about how much more your spending having to eat so much more food as for me, being a young lad with a not so profitable job, the hardest part for me has almost been being able to afford the diet I now have to consume. And also if you've taken the time to read this, thankyou, love you man and keep up the good work with your weight I know the struggle it is and I'm rooting for you just as much as I am myself 😊

Being Underweight may seem like a good thing, but it really isn't. The average adult male is supposed to be around 160-200 (Don't be harsh on me it was a wild guess). Usually anything under that range is underweight, and anything over that range is overweight. For overweighted people, it may seem like the best thing in the world to be underweight and skinny, which it really isn't. There has to be a healthy balance of weight gain and weight loss. Now you might be thinking "What does he know he must be some kid who thinks he's smart". I am also underweight. At 15 yrs old I am 5ft 6 inches and bounce between 90Ibs and 110Ibs. I share my father's genetically fast metabolism. I was recently told by doctors that I am the 5th percentile for my weight. That means 95% of kids my age are heavier than me. This is no joke. Weight is something the general population should be concerned about. I'm not forcing onto everyone that everyone should force themselves to gain/lose weight. I'm just stating that many people are having issues with these kinds of things.
@tigercub4513
@tigercub4513 5 жыл бұрын
NineAgar being over or under a set weight doesn’t make you inherently overweight or underweight. That’s based off of your BMI. You can’t just set a weight and say “yeah that’s healthy” because it also takes height into consideration as well.

Brandon I would like to recommend a high sugar diet. Due to how the body works if you completely cut sugar out of your diet then your body will use your stored fat as a energy substance. In case you didn't know, sugar turns Into gluclose and that is used as energy while fat gets stored in case of energy shortage. If you wanted to look Into this more then I believe it's called 'Anti-Keto'. Best of luck Brandon!

Richard Evans buddy, I’m a personal trainer. If he lifts weights all he’s gonna do is burn calories slowly and sure he will gain a very small amount of muscle but if he wants to be at a healthy state then he has to start a diet that contains mostly fats then carbs and followed by proteins.

Simon Restrepo that’s the dumbest shit I’ve ever read you must be the worst personal trainer of all time and there’s a lot of shitty personal trainers out there. All he needs to do to gain muscle is, be in a calorie surplus and progressively overload the weight he is lifting. That’s it. Who ever taught you that shit needs to be slapped. Unless you made it up yourself like most personal trainers do. If you disagree then you don’t understand the laws of thermodynamics or progressive overload. I feel sorry for your clients.

Maybe try, expanding your stomach by eating more volume so you're more hungry and can eat more. I know you've talked to a nutrionist, but your case is very simple. Eat more any way you can. Liquids or solids. And eating junk food probably won't hurt you dude. Poptarts and shit are great. Peanut Butter is like weight gaining heaven. It's a basic life hack. Butter is the same way. Fat = 9 cal a gram vs carb and protein which are only 4. I don't like seeing ya so thin. It's scary Brandon.

Pete, I'm 6'2 and im 137 pounds (62kgs), your videos have inspired me to go see a nutritionist as well. I have tried working out and eating a lot, like A LOT, but obviously the exercise affected the weight gain, thank-you for bringing attention to fast metabolism and skinny/underweight issues

I'm going through the same thing Pete. A year ago I weighed 89lbs at 5'2. I had no medical issues to contribute to this, just a very fast working metabolism and perfectly healthy. Try ensure protein shakes and protein shakes in general. Upping your calorie intake definitely helps. A year later and alot of work, I weigh 108lbs now at 5'2. Keep working at it Pete!! You'll get there. Wishing you the best of luck ❤❤❤

*reads comments* oof, I know you all care about Pete and love him... But some of y'all aren't giving the best recommendations lol. Everyone's body is different. Certain methods might work best for some but not for everyone. Also some méthodes aren't the healthiest even when effective, so just be aware.
