We are being bombarded with toxic ingredients every day, and I am not trying to be extreme here. From the foods we eat, to the creams and sprays we put on our bodies, many of them have ingredients that are just not good for us.

When I was diagnosed with IBS in 2021, I didn't want to accept "there is no cure, just live with it". I came across Bobby, Dr. Berg, etc. and just by making some changes in my diet (reading the labels) I starting feeling better and loosing some weight. I have lost 22 lbs just by changing my diet and my IBS rarely bothers me. I am a true believer that we need to take care of our bodies. Some items are more expensive, like just cooking with EVOO, Coconut oil, grass fed butter, non-gmo, etc., but your body (especially your gut) will thank you.

After my sister got diagnosed with lymphoma cancer about 15 years ago and soon after I’ve had thyroid problems, I’ve made a lot of these changes in my life and I’ve seen the benefits. Please pay attn people, you will be saving yourself and your loved ones a lot of heartache and hospital visits. You are what you eat. Hello all and to our dear host. Bugs do not like peppermint, tea tree oil, rosemary, lavender, cedarwood, geranium, eucalyptus. Mix 3-4 drops with a base oil ( Jojoba, grapeseed, avocado ( possibly ), almond and neem. The last one smells like garlic and onions so, it comes down to one's personal preference. Moving on, the shampoo I use is Castile, soapnuts or ambunu. Ambunu are likened to tea leaves. I find that bars soaps are less irritating such as Shea Moisture, Hennasooq bars other brands can be found on Amazon. Shea butter is the bomb for an all over body lotion. Don't like the greasy feel add a little arrowroot powder or just do mango with a little shea because the former is a dry butter ( no scent ) and the latter has a greasy feel ( light scent ). To remove makeup Olive oil and aloe, Jojoba oil and rose water or Witch Hazel and distilled water. Hope my suggestions are helpful.

For the coffee thing, most of those coffee makers that use k-cups (all of them?) are made of plastic, so your water sits in a plastic tank and then gets heated up and passes through plastic components before being pushed into the cup. If you're gonna make coffee, get yourself a glass coffee maker like a chemex with a metal filter and a stainless steel kettle so your water never touches plastic.

The criticisms mostly stem from the fact that the vast majority of us do use the products he advises against, and the vast majority of us are doing fine. The key is moderation. With something like sunscreen for example, most people aren't spending enough time in the sun to where the toxins in those generic sunscreens would have the deleterious effects down the road he mentions. If you spend an occasional day at the pool or beach, use the generic stuff, you'll be FINE.

Great video with lots of interesting information, thank you! People usually forget to mention the CUMULATIVE effect of toxic chemicals, which makes everything more complicated. If you wear mostly clothes with PFAS right against your skin such as leggings and you sweat in them, AND if you also cook mostly in non stick pans, AND if you use a yoga mat that picks up PFAS from your carpet, AND if you drink tap water that contains PFAS, well… even if it’s a small amount of toxic chemicals for each product it can add up to dangerous levels that can trigger health issues. Another concern is the COCKTAIL effect, when many different toxic chemicals create strange sets of symptoms and illnesses when they accumulate in a person’s body. This is very difficult to study because every person reacts differently and scientists don’t know how this mix of chemicals is truly affecting our body. Since there are endless possibilities regarding the type of chemicals, their toxicity level, their concentration and the way they interact with other chemicals in our blood, organs etc… there really is no way to study the effects all these toxic chemicals have on our body. The future doesn’t look good though, as we use more and more plastics including silicone cooking molds and a million other products that are supposed to make our life easier. People don’t realize that they are ingesting very unhealthy particles and feeding them to their kids too 😢 If we could just wake up and go back to simpler products made of healthier materials like linen for our clothes, and cast iron or glass for our cooking molds, now that would be a good start. When people want to exercise they go play soccer or softball on an athletic field covered with Astroturf filled with crumb rubber, which is made of tiny pieces of old car tires 🤮 Nobody seems concerned about the heavy metals and other toxic chemicals found in this recycled rubber, it’s really puzzling. Then they take their kids to a playground that has a soft ground cover made of rubber pellets glued together aka PIP (“Pour In Place” rubber flooring) which is also from old car tires. Nobody seems worried about their kids crawling all over this type of flooring with bare hands then eating a snack without washing or even wiping their hands to avoid ingesting too much rubber dust, no problem! Only a few counties in the US have banned these rubber pellets but most towns are now installing a PIP rubber flooring in their kids playgrounds and Astroturf on their athletic fields. No wonder kids who play several times a week on those fields have such a high rate of leukemia or other cancers, especially the goalies who are in contact with the toxic rubber pellets… Our homes are filled with toxic stuff, and people have no problem putting pieces of furniture like IKEA in their kids room, not realizing that the glue in these particle boards releases toxic airborne formaldehyde particles that are very unhealthy, especially for youngsters. Even smart people are still heating up their food in a microwave in a plastic container or worse in a cardboard box from the restaurant, not realizing that there are PFAS in the lining of the box. I have a friend who’s all about clean living, healthy lifestyle etc… but she has no problem putting her kids’ plastic lunch boxes in the dishwasher everyday, it’s disheartening…She doesn’t want to hear the fact that BPAs and other toxic chemicals get released because of the heat in there 🙄 I have another friend who’s an environmentalist but she mostly wears synthetic fabrics and doesn’t care about the tiny pieces of nylon or polyester that her clothes shed during each wash in her machine. Where does she think all these microplastics end up if not in the ocean? It’s really sad because we now have access to lots of information about this stuff online but most people don’t want to change their bad, lazy habits. I’m afraid the force of inertia is far too great, and people love their stretchy clothes, silicone cooking molds, cheap furniture and stain resistant sofas way too much to give them up. How can we remain hopeful when even smart people don’t want to hear the truth about toxic chemicals in their clothes, homes, playgrounds etc…?

I mostly agree with your suggestions. I plan to keep using this spring water in small plastic bottles. Since there's a quick turnover, I'm not too worried about heat exposure. My bigger concern is that reverse osmosis (RO) water filters strip away both beneficial and harmful minerals, so you'd have to reintroduce minerals using trace mineral drops or unrefined sea salt. Alternatively, you could use an alkaline water filter to add minerals back, but the taste can be quite unpleasant and those filters are just as problematic as most other filters.

Man the dish detergent is hard for me. It’s made me uncomfortable washing my dishes with cascade. But the naturally derived ones never work for me. They always leave food on the dishes. I’ve tried 7th gen but not that specific one. So I guess I’ll try that next time but my expectations are low.

It's definitely overwhelming to learn so much about food and products we shouldn't be using. I have weight and thyroid issues, knee pain, neck pain etc. Just this past year I started taking recommended (Dr. G's recommendation on what we all should be taking) supplements and trying to do better with healthier foods, and it has definitely helped my inflammation in my joints and my mood is better. I appreciate your videos and use them to guide me. However it's such a bummer paying more for healthier products. You would think the bad things would cost more since they had to develop them in a lab and all that. Hoping things become more affordable and the only way I think to influence better products on shelves is if we all stop buying the bad products as much as possible. Feel free to share what products you like and how they've helped you. Thanks Bobby.

The system isn't broken. The companies weren't thinking about how to harm you, they were thinking how to make it cheaper and as a result make more money (and have you save money). If everything was in glass and metal, things would be double if not triple the price.

Perhaps there is to be given credit to some of the critique given here but in general I find it helpful and inspires me to do my own research. But I can attest to, from personal experience over the past nine years that, the adverse effects one can get from chemicals in personal care and washing products. Stinging eyes, stuffed nose, chest congestion, coughing, head ache, fatigue. I wear a mask when I shop in certain stores, hang out the clothes I wore. Same if I visit where "Air fresheners" are used. At time if the air is still I wear a mask when I walk in town to partially avoid symptoms from the ubiquitous dryer fumes. I clean with vinegar. I wash clothes in baking soda with Ecos hand soap. Personal care product for hair and body. Kirks hand soap. I believe many more are allergic but attribute it to something other than their beloved "Fragrances", people are obsessed with smelling good. 😒😒

❤ good to know and I am sure God made good healthy things that we can use we just don't always have the knowledge. I know they used to make homemade soap it didn't smell like anything but it sure got you clean with no chemicals and it was the same for washing clothes I can remember borax as a child people clean with it wash clothes with it it doesn't have a lot of chemicals and when I can find it it's only $5 a box. Thank you and appreciate all the people with the knowledge if they can share it and get it out there it is a big help and perhaps God will bless you to open up a company that can actually make the things that people can afford to buy to live and be healthy we all know the government has allowed food since the fifties to be filled with lots of chemicals just to preserve them on the Shelf so that they can make money unfortunately big business is all about the money that is never good for humans when you love money more than anything else❤
