I tried pvp for this once as a pvper of other souls games a month ago with a random level 187 PvE character. Killed most people with stone soldier spear with random drip armor then received hatemail for being overleveled and 1v1 request where they used chaos blade which apparently is supposed to be broken. Killed him again so he called big bro to perma queue on his max level character that takes 1/3rd damage with max poise. "Best pvp in the series"

lucky you. the folks i go against either have like 99 endurance and use the Sanctum shield block attack, while spamming spells like homing missile. Or they hide behind a greatshield and roll away whenever i use a shield piercing weapon or a guard break. or else, it's someone in Havel Jester attire with any random helmet, that spams katana running or straight sword rolling attacks. i've only ever come across few people in the game that use rare or unique weapons that aren't some silly meta.

@@littlesneets8026 GOD I HATE THE SANCTUM SHIELD. One guy I repeatedly went up against? I'd always kick his ass for most of the fight. Relatively equal on health throughout, but he was clearly an arena twink and hit like a truck. Every time I almost killed him, he'd pull out the sanctum shield and do nothing but exploit the Block% and outrageous damage of the deflection bonk. 5-10 straight minutes of cowering behind that feckin thing for an easy win when he knew I couldn't afford to trade. Every. Damn. Time.

I played this game multiple times across multiple characters and i even tasked myself to complete a deathless/no bonfire run. I got both rings, a platinum trophy, and a full roster of characters. I still hate this game with an absolutely thermonuclear anger.
