Tbf, there is actually quite a bit of counterplay to venture. The only heroes I can think of who can't either get away or reasonably hope to beat them are Zen and widow. Ana is admittedly at a significant disadvantage with the necessity of hitting a quick dart, too.

I think the problem is that venture has 350 hp effectively with two escape abilities one of which makes them invulnerable. It's quite difficult to deal 350+ damage before they one clips someone in less than a second. At best alot of the time you can hope for a trade AT best. if you fail to do so often can get two or more picks and it also creates a ton of space and disruption forcing the supports or backline to focus on the venture. And this is coming from someone who plays venture themselves very well.

@@Zodiac_Ascension I kind of get it, and as a support main myself, venture is definitely troublesome. I do think they need some kind of mild nerf, but at the same time, venture kind of needs to have the advantage within operating range, given the close quarters nature of the hero's design. I was thinking maybe a small reduction in burrow time/distance would be reasonable, so crazy deep dives are less feasible.

Literally nobody is champion one right now lol it’s unbelievably brutal in champ ranks. Im champ 5 with a 80% winrate and I can’t climb. A win gives me 7-14% and a loss takes 25+. Even worse if I lose to a lower ranked team and I get hit with >expected

Gold/Plat/Diam are the hardest rank to play. You have tried on your skin now... xD I think that some accounts are really stucked into a limbo of his rank and for rank up they have to win streak or u will never run away from it.
