Hi It's Grandma Jan. Yes, holidays are hard. My last two kids died last year around Christmas time. One was 51 and the other was 59, But they will always be kids to me. Joey 51 died from an accidental meth overdose and his sister, Shell,59 died of a very unexpectant heart attack she was my best friend and I miss her so much. In 2007 their sister, Jamie, 42, died of an unexpected prescription mixup. My life story would fit in with yours. So now I have no kids. That's why I've adopted you. Happy Thanksgiving I know you and I would be such good friends, I love you and have a good day. Oh, yeah their dad died soon after Jamie died, As a military kid, I have lived most of the places you travel to. Your videos are so relaxing as I travel "with" you say "Ive been there, and there and there etc. mostly in the Soutwest , I live in Tennessee now, Georgias neibour. Bye for now.

I think we can often feel like we're the only ones who have a tough time around the holidays but it may be more prevalent than we think. When you pick your rv out. Have an independent rv inspection done on it, New or Used. This would be a certified inspector.

Someone may have already said it but before you make a decision on bringing in a travel trailer, I would check with the local jurisdiction and make sure you can. A lot of areas don’t allow a trailer, even on your own land unless it is very temporary.

I always spend Thanksgiving alone now for fifteen years. I fix a turkey breast and all the trimmings and just kick back with my two fur babies. The first couple years were so very hard, but now after this long since my husband passed, it has become a very welcomed time that I spend alone. So I hope you'll find joy in the cabin with you and Lil One! As far as a septic tank, if you have enough acreage you could just do composting for your toilet and then drain your gray water out to trees as long as you use safe biodegradable soaps. I'm sure you've seen different alternatives on the composting and the humanurer you would produce is great for trees. That way you'd save lots of money on a septic. Some people find it a bother, but I think you could easily deal with it and that way you don't have to deal with black tanks either. Off Grid with Doug and Stacy have a YT channel and a homestead and teach you how to do all that sort of thing. Also you might think about at least partially fencing part of your land since you'll not be there full time and you'll want to protect your belongings when you're on the road. Lots of options for sure and plenty of time to figure it all out. Happy Thanksgiving Sarah!❤

Maybe Ross the one legged miner could lease a portion of his land to you for a home base. It looks like a fairly remote spot, and he could look after your trailer and other stuff while you were out and about. You could do the same for him from time to time maybe. He's living off grid though, so utilities would not be available. And if it gets too hot I bet he'd even let you cool off in his mine for a while. It's probably not the kind of situation you had in mind, but I'm curious what you think of that idea?

My Chihuahua has a heart murmur also. I changed her food from hard food to soft food instead and started adding Organic bone broth to her food. It seems to be helping her A lot. The bone broth is soppose to strengthen her traqea and less coughing which I definitely noticed the change. Of course do your own research on it for little one..but the bone broth is amazing for mine. Stay safe & Happy holidays

Haopy Thanksgiving! The whole month of November is about gratitude. I am still grateful for all the people who helped me out, and a higher power, to get off of alcohol and drugs. I tried at first to blaime my higher power and everyone else for everything that I did to me. It was me. I appreciate one looking more like a female too. I like the hair down the outfits and all. I lost my way in life too. It took a lot of work and still takes work to change only me. Hopefully I will have something good to offer to some one else. My dad and mom and two brotehrs Charlie and Richard, and Jayne have all passed on. I had to do some grieving too! Only I let others help me out this time around. I’ll pay attention and make your next live! Your last video spoke of loss; in a flash that brought back memories. We lost our father, oldest brother and sisters husband in 2022, our mother and my best friend a few years before that. I will be working through that for a long time. I closed my office last year, setup a camper and headed to backcountry in the southwest and northwest. Being alone can be tough but am reminded of a saying: the worst loneliness can happen when you are not alone.

I did mine solo OTR but baked up my usual Cornish game hens and the trimmings out of cans was pretty tasty. That’ll be fun to watch you develop your property, the “old travel trailer” plan is a good one. Imma bet somewhere in this group of fans is someone fully qualified to tidy up your access road, build a pad for the camper, and dig in your septic tank, and they wouldn’t charge you a dime. You’d just have to rent a mini-escalator and buy the tank and piping.

Holidays are always a bit difficult for us. It’s tuff all around and now my son has moved to Missouri it’s more lonely than we thought it would be. But we are still happy and content we moved here. We had one of our cats pass last week unexpectedly, so we are down one furbaby. 🙁 we will be fine, he’s buried in our yard and I have plans to make him a memorial stepping stone to put over the top of him. Northerngirlhobbies and her husband located a trailer for an elderly gentleman in Canada, so that he could stay living where he wanted. Their build is hands down the very best tutorial ever, they built up from the dirt with an Arctic base proof lot. These trailers are all 4 season, but almost no one creates or considers a 4 season base.😉

I've been to Alaska many times and one of the best ways to go is through British Columbia take the ferry over to Vancouver Island and then drive up Vancouver Island and take another ferry from Port Hardy and going to Ketchikan Southeast Alaska is the most entertaining to me Anchorage in Fairbanks are pretty cold if if you like the ocean being Norwegian I love the water are fish a lot in Southeast Alaska I've been both ways Vancouver is pretty cool Horseshoe Bay Vancouver Island I lived off of Vancouver Island on a little island named Denman Island anyway have a good trip my little one is watching your little one now he loves watching
