Finally fixing the head gasket on the OM606 swapped Grey S124. I picked up a E300 and have a 190D project to complete.

W124 manual 5spd cross member was still available from dealer for $32 when I bought mine. My 606 build has been going for 4 years because lazy, but I'm close to a startup. Pump is from my 603 project, an early diselmekken pump. I've also got a 717.461 from that project that I was going to repurpose but it needs a rebuild and I nabbed a gs6-37bz for a backup. I see that stock exhaust mani, were you planning to use the t3 adapter?

Ps, I also have an ASD diff, I just put a bolt in the hydraulic feed to provide higher clamping without full lock up, are you going to go the go-kart handbrake route or something more elegant?

Thanks for the heads up about the cross member, would you happen to know the part number? I’m on year 6 with the gray wagon, so 4 years isn’t that bad in my eyes. As for the T3 setup, I made my own manifold for compound turbo setup. I just have a spare manifold sitting around. I’m planning on using the original S124 asd setup plumped like factory into the SLS system. I’d just use a switch to activate the fluid pressure to the clutches.

You could say that. Unfortunately one of the stores closed so I sold most of the equipment and that small mixer and some bread pans are what I have left.

@@neverendingprojects the compound setup on the om606. thinking about doing one for the w210 I have. Wasn't sure on turbo sizing. Wondering if I could run the factory turbo with a hx35 on top (happen to have one)

@@Jessersadler The compound is from a navistar maxxforce 7. It's a Borgwarner R2S turbo system, which is essentially a SXE200 over a S300 turbo. I don't know the specification on the turbine and compressor wheel sizes, but it flows enough air to make 800+ foot pounds of torque on the Maxxforce. On the 606 I made 28psi by 1800rpm, but I also had exhaust valve float from the back pressure . I upgraded the springs but haven't got the car up and running again. Not sure if it's a good turbo for you it's a very large package. I had to cut my car's frame rail.

@@neverendingprojects sound like you need an external waste gate(larger, or another one) between small turbo and large. Are you running the electronic controlled pump, or completely mechanical?

@@Jessersadler The r2s has a wastegate between the two stages... I gave you the details on the turbo you should look into it. I haven't done any tuning on the system yet. I've driven the car a couple tie's but had over heating issues which are now sorted. I have a EDC pump with DSL1
