@michelemacisaac91854 жыл бұрын
I didn’t know an eyeshadow primer even existed. I went and bought the milani eyeshadow primer & wow. I had no idea eyeshadow could stay on so long. Mine is usually worn off 2h after application. Yesterday I tried the primer - applied eyeshadow at 6am and I had to wash it off at 10 pm. I am impressed lol , at 49 I learned something new 😊😊

Emily, would you or have you done a video on a full face of "discontinued" products? Things that you think need to be brought back/reformulated, ect? I absolutely LOVED the Cover Girl Vitalist Healthy Elixir foundation and am finally using up the last of the stash of that I had...and that got me thinking about discontinued products that we loved. (PS...if anyone loved that foundation and has a good "dupe" or similar finish/wear/feel please let me know!!)

Hey there! I’m relaxing after our first day of virtual school with my autistic kid. My goodness it’s so difficult and frustrating, yet we’re glad he’s somewhat back to a routine. Schools are back here in Northern Ireland and I'm back to bringing a distraught son to school and collecting a son full of anger he unleashes as soon as he gets into the car. Prayers to you Allison. I am currently homeschooling my almost 17 year old autistic son and 14 year old daughter that has her own learning disabilities. We are 1 week, and 2 days in and so far so good. It's been a learning curve, but they both tell me that they are learning more at home than at school.

Allison Buettner, I’m in my 40s and have just taken my first virtual class at my local University after a very long absence away from college. I cried all day and night yesterday out of fear of the unknown. I wish I had some loved ones who are as loving as you and all those countless, patient parents out there who are finding this new world we’re in to hold my hands at times when I just want to tuck my head under my sheets and go to bed. We’ll get through this year if it doesn’t knock us down and make us stronger.

I love the way your look turned out. I know it was more subtle than most of your looks, but I thought ot was a quietly elegant look! The e.l.f. hd setting powder is on my list of must haves! When I was first introduced to it, I was skeptical about the way it would appear on my skin, but I was immediately convinced it was the product for me. E.L.F. products can be deceiving because the packaging isn't flashy or screaming "high end," but I haven't found many products that I've been dissatisfied with. Thanks, as always, for all that you bring to your viewers! You a a very bright spot in my day!!!

LA Girl has this luminizing “primer”. Now it doesn’t do much in the way of priming really but if you apply it before a light-med coverage foundation, it gives this gorgeous sneaky luminousity to the skin that you can’t quite put you finger on. It’s so pretty. It’s looks REALLY reflective prior to foundation application & seems like it might ruin your look, but no. It’s worth trying - & it’s under $5!👍💚💜♥️

The Guerlain Meteorites pearls, those light revealing powder pearls. OMG, I thought these were nothing more than very overpriced powder balls. I was wrong. So wrong lol. If you shake them in the container, it loosens some of the product & use a powder brush to apply as a last step all over the face. Get the shade that flatters your depth & tone. These are so good! And it lasts too!

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. The Maybelline foundation mousse took me back to my early college years before I discovered high end liquid foundation. I used to love those mousse blushes too. Six years ago, Kristen Gehm did a video that convinced me to buy the Maybelline duo in Brownstone. Looked like nothing, but it worked! I also love the Maybelline single in The Glo Down as a highlighter and Covergirl single in Champagne for inner corner and brow bone. For lips, I have to say Rimmel’s shade Summer Angel. I totally love the dream matte mousse. The dream matte mousse blush was the first release and I remember being so obsessed. I remember they came out with foundation and eventually concealer and shadows. Something about them coming in a little glass jar made it feel more luxurious and almost like you were using a high-end product (15 yes ago anyway) or around 15 years ago who knows how long exactly. I know I was young LOL. I owned each one and a few of the cream shadows and this is where my love of moussey, whipped makeup started. Just something about the way it applies! Love it
