I love my series X. Its the tower of power. I just bought it a week ago. So glad i got it instead of the series S mainly because of the extra memory. Playstation has some great exclusives but Xbox has gamepass and just a better structure and is buying up all these companies. The future is very bright and we are just starting to see what this new current gen can do.

The main thing you've missed: it's backwards compatible and upscales lots of old games. I'm obviously going to play Starfield but I don't care about exclusives, which basically don't exist anyway since everything is now coming to PC.

I just got the series x yesterday. I play on a 28in 4k 144hz samaung monitor. And i came from the 1x so graphics werent bad but maintaing 60 fps is. The series x blows me away you can tell the ray tracing and hdr has a huge effect. The lighting the clarity the avility to maontain 60+ fps. And the series x is hands down the most quiet console

I have an Xbox Series X and a Nintendo Switch and I'm super happy with both. I ended up with a Series X by default due to the lack of PS5 available to buy. The Series X has aged very well so far. The price has stayed the same unlike the PS5 that got a 100€ price increase in Europe. I would just like to see other companies making expansion storage for the Xbox asap. The Seagate drives are just overpriced at the moment.

Nice review Bro’… Had both the next gens at launch. Console exclusivity isn’t everything. The Series X is my go to console and I sold the PS5 for this reason. It still absolutely amazes me, in game, leaving my jaw on the ground at times, on a daily basis! The only downside, for me, has been the controllers and how fragile they are. After going through far too many controllers (excellent returns service btw!) I got the Elite 2. Lasted a little longer, but it’s on its way out! 😉

I love my series x it is a beast! I also much prefer the xbox controller too, I don't like vibration so I turn it off. The dual sense has voice too and you gotta turn it off and more just so you can game without keeping it plugged in. Battery doesn't last at all. Xbox will keep getting beter over the next 5 years as it has the hardware to push some great games! PS5 will release a pro to handle them in my opinion.

I think both systems are kinda wasting their potential tho because 1) most new games come on old gen as well so a lot of ppl dont have the need to upgrade to this gen 2) When developers create games that are on both the current and old gen they cant fully use the power of the current consoles because they create them so they can tun on old gen as well. Lol I don't how you still use the 1TB narrative over the PS5's storage. The compression on the PS5 is so good that the file sizes on games are tiny compared to other platforms. It's negates that narrative.

@@Technchill that's one example. Others like AC Valhalla is huge, but update sixes are much smaller and that's a third party title. First party are even smaller. That's not even getting in to expansion SSDs that cost a lot less than the proprietary expansion. When you put the speed, compression and expansion, one solution is clearly ahead. Both are good consoles, but Xbox has severely limited the potential of the series X.

I own both PS5 and Series S for almost an year now, sony has it’s own set of problems but quality exclusives isn’t the one. Microsoft seriously need to understand that gaming is software business first and then it is a hardware business. That’s why Switch is the best selling console since 2017 even though it is the weakest system on board. WHERE ARE THE GAMES!?? A decade old question Microsoft and Xbox fanboys still can’t confidently answer. It’s just disheartening to see that. Microsoft just didn’t realised what made the 360 such a massive success. It’s wasn’t just that it was cheaper at launch and launched one year before of the PS3, but the game library at launch and throughout it’s lifecycle is the reason why they were able to sell 80 million units. It’s only the Forzas that feel worthy of some attention since last decade. With Sunset overdrive and those two Ori games coming out of nowhere to satisfy your ego a bit that you bought the right console. They have milked Halos and Gears enough and are in dying need of Starfield to work and save the day. Game development has become even more lengthy process and despite of all the acquisitions, I highly doubt Xbox will release quality exclusives at least for this generation apart from those one or two accidental hits. There focus for this generation is about making gaming accessible to everyone. Gamepass is just Microsoft’s excuse to get away with releasing mediocre AAA exclusives.
