‘It’s Bisan From Gaza, And Diseases Are Spreading At These Schools'

Bisan Owda, a video journalist in Gaza, takes us inside the UN schools that now act as shelters for over 1 million displaced Palestinians. The schools are severely overcrowded and lack proper sanitation - as many as 160 people are forced to share a single toilet. Some shelters have seen outbreaks of cholera and hepatitis.
But even these shelters are not safe - Israel is now demanding that the Palestinians sheltering in Khan Younis flee farther south to Rafah.

Bisan and Palestinian people are always in my heart. I am Japanese, and I have heard the similar stories during WWII in Japan. US military warplane came to spread leaflets saying the next target locations and what kind of bomb they use. One leaflet suggested atomic bombs that were researched and developed for years in US would be dropped in Japan. Some other leaflet saying "Hate Japanese army because we have to kill you because of Japanese army among you." Some leaflet had a mockery saying "What kind of treatment you want next from US military." It looks like Isorael military and US military do the exactly same things for slaughtering people. No wonder US support Isorael. They are twin countries behaving exactly the same. I love Bisan and Palestinian people. Everyday, I pray for Palestine.
