Israeli attacks on Gaza have not only targeted civilians, but also the infrastructure Palestinians need to survive. At least eight Gaza water utility workers have been killed on the job despite being in clearly marked cars. People in Gaza now have to get water from salty water wells that are functioning at one-tenth capacity.

The situation is far worse in northern Gaza, where resources are more scarce.

Video journalist Bisan Owda shows us how overflowing garbage, sewage and reduced water supply are impacting the health of people in Gaza. Respiratory and skin infections are on the rise because of the destruction of Gaza’s infrastructure.

Thank you, Bisan, for your reporting. I don't know how you hold it together to do this. I have friends here in the U.S. who are from Gaza and have family there. Every time that I see them, I don't know how they hold it together and carry on day to day. I call the office of my representative in Congress and plead with the staff. I can tell the staff are sympathetic, they are young, but I don't know what is going through our representative's head. She's been to Palestine. She knows what it going on, yet she has done little to speak against this genocide. I've pleaded with her staff for her to call it a genocide, to take leadership to oppose this insane cruelty, but there's mostly just silence. But I and my friends will keep on raising our voices here. Please don't give up, please don't stop reporting. My faith is weak, but I hope and pray that God will bring justice finally, and will rescue and vindicate the oppressed of Palestine.

Amnesty International: A Houthi court has sentenced nine people to death on charges of homosexuality. Seven people were stoned to death, and two were crucified on crosses. Twenty-three others were sentenced to up to ten years on various charges including homosexuality, "spreading immorality" and "immoral acts". I like your comment up to not taking sides. As an American citizen, I side with Palestinians. It is disgraceful what is happening to the people in Gaza. I don't want to see anything bad happen to any Israelis but to listen to a 6 year old child, Hind, beg rescue to come get her and they found her body along with her families bodies and the ambulance with the bodies of the rescuers yesterday, it just doesn't make any sense. My nephew is 6, and it makes me outraged to think that this could have been him. It could be any of us at any time. And that's why I pick a side.

Which it seems you do too!! I think I have a very different and interesting perspective of the Hamas attacks of Oct 7th because that could 100 percent be America if the oppressed (black, native, etc) people here decided to attack and kill a thousand innocent white Americans, it would still be horrific and wrong so in my opinion, both Hamas and Israel are now in the wrong. You forget to mention that quitte recently before 7 October they estimated with samples that more then 75% of Gazans supported hamas. It sucks for the 25% but you reap what you sow.
