Hello Mama - your comment touched me so I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone! I am thinking of you and will pray that your sadness is replaced with the joy of life! I too, am disabled and suffer from chronic back pain, chronic fatigue and Fibromyalgia. Sometimes the pain seems almost unbearable but the loneliness is worse!!! The sadness of feeling left out of the world because you can't keep up ... the friends lost when they gave up on me after I canceled one to many times due to a flare up of pain! All of it can bring you down .... I try very hard to remember that each day I have is a gift and an opportunity. Perhaps tomorrow a procedure will be developed that will reduce my pain level - maybe I'll simply be watching a KZbin video and find a comment that moves me (like yours did) and I become close friends with the author of the comment! 😊 Hang in there Mama, the sun will be brighter- maybe not tomorrow but definitely in God's timing! 🙏🌞🌟

For your back pain, I totally understand. I dealt with back pain for almost thirty years. Finally broke down and got the L ,3, 4, & 5 fused. Last year they fused the L 2 to the 3. I live with the pain every day. I am scheduled to a nerve oblasion on Thursday. If that does not work it will be a stimulator.

Praying your finger heals. I know what you mean about pain. I’ve lived with chronic next & back pain for 10 yrs, so when I injured my foot last May, I pretty much ignored it until 6 weeks later when I got up one morning & could not put any weight at all on that foot. Went to the doctor, he sent me to an Orthopedic doctor & found out I had ruptured the plantar facial tendon on the bottom of my foot & because I waited to see the doctor for so long I also had Achilles’ Tendonitis. I was already on crutches but was also put in a boot which I had to wear for 4 wks. Then started two months of physical therapy. Sooo my whole summer was a mess!!! Now 9 months later I still have foot pain, cannot walk barefoot at all, my heel & ankle is stiff all the time & still cannot walk for long distances. I’m praying this all gets better for this summer🤗

Rachel please take the time to see the proper doctors and do what is necessary to ease your pain. You have complained for years now about how much pain your in, but you seem to not do what is absolutely needed to relieve it. If surgery will fix it, get the surgery. My X got to the point with his back that one day he could not get out of bed. I had to call 911 to get him to a hospital and he got surgery the next day. He recovered quickly and hasn't had a back ache since. You have to take care of yourself or one day you might not be able to get out of bed. Then what good are you to your children?? Love yourself enough. XO

I’m much older than you but enjoy your family. I too struggled with Anxiety as a young mom and after. I took much medication but I can’t say it was worth it because the side effects are so much worse. Please do some research about these drugs before putting yourself on any of them. I will say the thing/ things that worked the best for me. I went through a step study at Celebrate Recovery, I’m not an addict but the program helps with hurts, hang ups and habits. It was profound!! I highly recommend. Regular talk therapy to help manage my expectations of me and others. I also had pain and I did some work with a counselor on pain processing. I hope this helps a bit. I can’t say enough how I wish I had never gone on medication.

My is mostly my back too so I know how you feel it's hard.

I too suffer from a bad back and pain. My L4 & L5 are messed up, I had 3 friends that have had back surgery and they said do not do it… all of them are going on multiple surgeries, one has had 10 surgeries, another has had 13 surgeries and the other one has had seven surgeries they say once you start back surgeries you just keep on having to have them so if you can figure out and deal with the pain and do that because all three of them are also using canes and they are in their late 30s early 40s. I fell at 16 and broke my tailbone and that’s when my back problem started I’m 44 today and after my third child I slipped and fell down her stairs and cracked my tailbone again my back has just taken it’s toll, between myself playing volleyball softball for willing it’s been hard but my family understands that there are days where I just cannot do much at all. I don’t know if it’s from my back neither does my doctor or neurologist but I know have idiopathic peripheral neuropathy and I am numb from the knees down it’s scary, it sucks, but I have to look at it from a different angle especially when I get really down and realize that things could be so much worse this could be cancer this could be something that is deadly God willing🙏🏻🙏🏻 it will never turn into that. I wish you nothing but the best I have been on anxiety medication for the last 23 years don’t feel upset about it if you have to take it,.

Take it from someone who has lived with varying degrees of chronic pain since the birth of my 2nd son in 1995:so 25 yrs I can tell you that you NEED to get a referral to see a Neurosurgeon. They will do an MRI and work out what is going on. I see a Pain Specialist because pain management of chronic pain is NECESSARY. Don't wait until it gets worse. Don't wait until you're pregnant and can't take meds. Get it under control. You may need surgery which takes approx 6 months to recover from. Your 4th pregnancy is still going to happen. You need to take care of your back. BTW.... plates is the ABSOLUTE BEST for people who have back issues.

I slammed my finger in a car door a few years ago. The hand specialist put me in a splint and told me I had to have mine pushed back a little if I did not have it in the splint. Ended up seeing a different hand splint when the first doc said I had to have surgery but he could not do it. The hand surgeon I saw next said he would have done surgery immediately. My finger had never been the same. I would encourage you to get a second opinion sooner rather than later. I may have more mobility and the knuckle may not be so big now if I had had the surgery right away. Just a thought. Mine is the middle finger on my dominant hand so it is much more an infringement on my daily life to have it partially numb and not totally moveable permanently than your pinkie may be to you. Only you can make that choice though. Please take care of yourself! Easy for us to put ourselves on the back burner for our families. There is only one you though!

Aww Rachel I feel bad hearing you are in so much pain. I have dealt with so much excruciating pain for years. Mine started as I became older, but, you have three babies to take care of. Maybe if you go to a drug store the pharmacist can fix you up with another splint and clean bandages. Good luck and God Bless.

You waited too long to have it looked at. Therefore, if it does straighten, it most likely won't be 100%. Coming from someone who did the same thing you did, but during a volleyball game. I splint it, and got back in the game. Went 2 days later to have it looked at, we correctly splint it, and it still stayed bent. Over 20 years later and it's become my trademark. Nothing wrong with being bent either! Unless you're worried about how it looks.. I will say though.. It is kind of odd that you don't have a splint piece on both sides of the pinky. Tape will not hold your finger correctly in place, because you know.. Showering, dishes, kids.. etc.. Do you have access to a Walgreens or CVS?? They have full finger splints that would be more beneficial, if for nothing else.. piece of mind!
