On average, how long after listing a property do owners typically reduce their selling price?

That's an excellent question. I have never seen a statistic for the average of that although I'm sure it exists. But, the answer depends heavily on whether or not the realtor started out the transaction with a plan to lower the price if they don't get buyer traffic. When it's planned in advance like that, many sellers will start to lower within 2 weeks particularly if there's just no interest. Otherwise they typically won't consider it for at least 30 days. And many home sellers will wait quite a bit longer before they accept the reality that a lower price is what they need. Also the higher price homes, like 4 million plus, often wait much longer before they lower the price as they don't anticipate selling the house immediately anyway.
