Hello Oliver and Stephanie, this morning in northern Illinois, it was 12 degrees. Didn't warm up at all. This afternoon, it went up to 14 degrees. I'll take 70 degrees any time. It's nice to see you both out on the water. Guess I'll have to wait until next spring to see you walking on the beach? Merry Christmas to you both and your family!

You guys are getting better and better at handing off that GoPro! Funny you said that about the water being shallow. I lived on a lake in northern MN for 3 years that probably wasn't more than 7-8 ft deep at the most. Because there were a few springs, there were a few pan fish. I'm sure parts of it froze solid.🥶 Steph, that hat would have fit right in up there!😂 Finally went to "my beach" (Honeymoon Island) yesterday. First time since the hurricanes. It's not fully open yet but it was good to be back. Saw a big dead blue crab and thought of you guys!❤️ Would love to see the second round!😊 What a beautiful evening! Thanks guys!😘

I’m from New Jersey and the best crabbing I’ve ever done was between thanksgiving and Christmas….. as that water gets colder they start to feed before they get ready to go into the mud ….. I live in Florida now and gotta relearn all my crabbing techniques because it’s WAY different down here

Set an example for kids. Wear life preservers . They have the suspender type that inflate when you hit the water. $60 each. Save a life accidents happen.
