I've found you, my companion in agony! 🤍😄 It's a vicious cycle, working until you feel like you're gonna puke but then winding down by watching others work on KZbin. 😆 I've been there, hah.

Very interesting series and very well explained. Thankyou. Your house will be wonderful in the end. I've done a lot of similar conservation work on our 1890's house here in England and it is always fascinating to see comparable tasks in other countries with diffrerent materials and building traditions.

PS. I can recommend stainless steel TORX head screws for any floorboards that you think you might need to lift in future to gain access to services. The heads are very small and if driven just below the surface they can be easily 'dirtied down' with a bit of paint so they dont show.

Your comment means a lot, as I struggle a bit with speaking and always worry if anything I say makes any sense to others. 😅 So thank you! I love English architecture and how you have so much of the historic cities, towns and villages still left. I'm always jealous of how almost everyone renovating old homes in England seem to find gorgeous fireplaces and floor tiles from under the rubble. That's such a rare thing here in Finland. All we found was garbage and some bones. 😄

@@HowardRice Oh thank you so much! 🙏I was actually just today thinking if we should leave some critical boards screwed, cause it will be a nightmare trying to lift them later. You're reading my mind. 😄

Mahtavaa! Voin kuvitella ton tunteen kun lattiat korjattu vaikka kaikki työ vielä itellä edessä. Wish me luck! 😅

Todellakin toivon kaikkea parasta sinne! 🤍 Kyllä se teilläkin vielä valmistuu, vaikka sitä on vaikea uskoa. Mutta pinnan pidentämistä on hyvä yrittää harjoitella etukäteen. 😅
