Delightful family, very useful video as we are booking next year. Thanks for sharing. Oh and take your poor son to Kennedy Space centre next time, especially on a launch day, it's brilliant

Hi John, thanks for watching and for your kind comment. I hope our videos prove useful to you when planning your cruise. It’s not just Noah that wants to go to the Kennedy Space Centre, we all do. It’s just fitting it in around other things. We live to see a launch though. What itinerary do you have on Adventure?

@thekennafamilyadventures5 thanks for the response, will check out more of your vids, we are booking a cruise on this ship in 2026 with stops in Bahamas, Jamaica, Haiti.

I’m sure you have a ball. We lived the ship. It was perfect for our first cruise.

This makes me so excited to take my daughter on Adventure of the Seas in October! We actually have the same stops, with Cabo Rojo being an additional stop. Excited to watch the rest of your vlogs for this trip. Your children are so well behaved, good on you!

Thank you Andy! It really was amazing and we all loved it. We’ve just finished next weeks vlog and we laughed so much. Appreciate you watching, as always and so glad you’re enjoying the cruise diaries. Have you ever cruised? Or would you consider cruising?

@thekennafamilyadventures5 - never cruised, I get really really bad seasickness, what's why I love watching your cruise, I can enjoy it without the seasickness
@thekennafamilyadventures52 ай бұрын
Makes sense. Not the type of trip you want if you suffer from sea sickness! We took Dramamine in case we got sick but had to stop taking it as it was making us all super tired! Luckily the weather stayed pretty decent during the cruise.

That was a fun video. What a nice family, and great kids. In some of the other Orlando theme park channels, the kids can come off as a bit feral. Looking forward to the rest of your videos. When you eventually make it to the Kennedy Space Center, check the schedule to see if there are any rocket launches for any of the days you are visiting, then tie your visit to that. They do abort launches a lot of times for safety reasons, so there is no guarantee it’ll actually take place, but how cool it would be to still see the spaceship on the launch pad. Never been to the Kennedy Space Center, but I have been to the Johnson Space Center in Houston (Texas), the original launch site, which was amazing, and the site in Huntsville (Alabama), which was disappointing.

Thank you Billy. Very kind words. The kids are great but they have their moments! We loved the cruise. It exceeded our expectations for sure. Have you ever cruised?

@ I have. I did a cruise thru the Galápagos Islands for eight days. The boat held only 16 passengers, but there were only 13 of us, with a crew of eight. No phone service, no internet, lights off after 10 pm. It was great! I haven’t been on a large ship, but had a co-worker who was addicted. She did two cruises a year, and had been on more than 50. The destination didn’t matter, it was the time on the ship that she enjoyed.

@ your experience sounds great. Would be lovely to disconnect like that. I can see how cruising could become addictive. The ships are incredible and the food and service are excellent. You’ll see from this series of videos we loved the whole experience.

We went on the 8 day cruise in late September. It was great. We have a 6 and 5 year old. They loved it. Coco Bay was great. We were the only ship so that helped a lot. I liked your video. We were debating going on another cruise with Carnival Vista for about $240 more that has their new private island opening up this summer, or going back on this one, or taking a 10 day with this one but no coco-bay. Its so difficult to decide. We walked around on destinations for a couple hours but nothing much. Its a hard decision. LOL

Thanks for watching and subscribing Davie. So glad you enjoyed the videos. I know exactly what you mean, we agonised over the ship and itinerary but in the end we think we made the right choice. The ship size, the number of sea days to get to enjoy the ship and the ports were all perfect for our first cruise. Now that we’ve been in one I think we’d go for a bigger ship next time. I really think there’s no wrong answer though- you’ll be on a cruise so will have an amazing time! How was the food when you were in the Adventure?

The pilot boats are for pick up of the harbour pilot. It’s mandatory to have a harbour pilot on the bridge to bring ships in and out of every port…no matter the ship. Harbour pilots work in conjunction with the ship captain and their knowledge of their home harbour (currents, hidden obstacles etc.) is indispensable.
@thekennafamilyadventures5Ай бұрын
Thank you for clearing that up. I assumed it was something like that but wasn’t 100% sure. Hope you’re enjoying the vlogs.

@ you're welcome. I just started following you and am enjoying the logs. We are cruising on the Adventure of the Seas in October 2025. This will be our 4th RCL cruise, and I always research ships and locations prior to our trips. Have a wonderful day❤️
