I know this probably isn't the place to do this, but im not doing so well at the moment dealing with my depression and loneliness, and at this point one of the main things keeping me going is waiting for your new episodes every day. I know things will eventually get better and I need to just keep working on it, but I just wanted too say thank you, to all of you, including your dearly departed Thick44, you guys have helped me laugh at times when I was near my worse and I may not have been here to this day if I hadn't discovered this channel. Just cracks me up that, by definition, life has somehow made Simon a professional gamer. His profession is (among other responsibilities) playing video games for others entertainment.. Personality wins out. He has no skill at gaming (even if he's slowly improving) and he misses basic principals constantly. How often is that a thing that leads to success. Love the whole team but Simon's inclusion is the most unlikely thing for this medium, and its amazing. Im not sure I have a favorite, Neebs is the one I relate to most, but everyone is great. Unique crew of fun people.

I thought up another strategy: assuming you can dig faster than a hoard wedging themselves can, and that digging provides the sole resources needed to construct wall-tiles back-filling your progress; you could auger into a hill-side and cobble up behind as you go, they would still try to spawn on you and reach you by digging, but you'd be moving deeper every minute, and reducing your vicinity with nowhere for them to spawn into.

I might be wrong but it honestly does feel like Appsro is in a perfect spot not to get as much attacked. He's obviously the best of the group at this game but still feels like from the start all the zombies have mainly gone for the rest. It could be the fact zombies go for the easiest route so his base is the hardest to attack which causes them to go for the others. I could be wrong but very much feels like that but still Appsro would have still won it would have just been more interesting. Seeing the best player get the least attack is less interesting. But whatever its all for fun and content which this series definitely is. And Simon should most definitely get MVP at end of this series as he's done the best with the least skills. They just don't film him as much as Dora and Simon because Appsro's blade traps eat the zombies so there is no cinematic value to watch his place. Look how quickly he dispatched the mob that tore through Dora's place. At this point I think the only real threat Appsro would have is if they somehow imported an Incubus from DF.

Nah, Appsro's right, he just kills them faster. Dora and Neebs don't use enough traps and didn't set their bases up to give themselves proper sightlines, so the zombies end up piling up on their bases because they can't kill them fast enough with just guns.

Zombie see them as one team they don't know that these are seperate bases belonging to different people. So yes they simply go the route with the least resistance. It doesn't help that basically no zombies spawn behind Appsro's house. There is allways someone elses base in between Appsro and the zombie spawns.

@@TheBod76 their spawning in closest to the path of least resistance. neebs gave them a straight path to himself so they spawned near that path, Dora's house was the easiest to reach in this episode so they spawned nearer to him. depending on how dora sets up base 3.0 he'll probably still get most of the spawns because he's clearly following the same design concept neebs used

Apprso's single-player combat moments are VERY reminiscent of the Thick Adventure Cam during earlier 7 Days play where he'd just go out, kill bodies, and loot almost everything before the other guys could get to it. Actually, each one of them channel Thick's persona in different ways these past 6 months or so. Human man warrior never dies

Simon got spikes. Appsro got spikes, blade traps and assault rifles. Neebs got a different strategy - invite all zombies and leave them accumulate as long as they get through the choke point. It would work if only he could cut more effectively the back entrance and he didn't (although he saw what could happen). Dora had almost the same tactics. Unlike Neebs, he didn't make a path for the horde, so they started destroying the base. He had a rifle with a bad fire rate. All that means more zombies are staying alive longer in Dora's and Neebs's area. Having in mind both had more zombies to begin with and all of Appsro's were ignoring him, going straight for his house, they couldn't preserve as much ammo and money as he did. So they couldn't develop as well as him. That being said - bad luck + not very effective long term strategies put Dora and Neebs in a bad spot. Simon died twice and took measures. He didn't get ambushed after that. Not even once. How about instead of arguing, neebs gaming crew appoints a jury to analyse what's happening in detail? They already have interviews. Make it more like a real competition.

@@chosen1one930 If I recall what zombies you get is set according to the loot stage of the game and that is partly decided by your level but also your gear, and even your location. The loot stage also affects the kind of loot you get as well.

The only reason Simon is alive right now is because the zombie pathing and spawn logic have all be working in both their favors. Once Dora is out 100% Simon is going out either the same day or the episode after since they'll be the only 2 left for the zombies to actually target. Appsro had so much free time to build up that he should be fine for awhile

Instead of material reinforcement, investing in traps and eliminating weak points in his base, Dora focuses on things that don't help him survive effectively. Now, that negligence, and his idiotic decisions, are rapidly catching up with him.

They're out doing missions and getting stuff to survive while also having to maintain a structure before the horde comes at night whereas Appsro spends like 90% of the horde night staring at them and commenting since he hasn't gotten much giving him more free time. We ALL knew Neebs or Simon would be out quick we knew Dora would do something silly and die a few times but Appsro should've struggled a bit more but house placement is favoring him
