I'm still trying to rationalize how this series feels like a massive meme, while also being pretty much perfectly in character for everyone.

I don't think Papyrus saved Sayori by accident, despite his reason for being there was completely different. Papyrus IS intelligent and smart, his puzzle making skills are proof of that, I think he genuinely understands that Sayori needed some type of help but didn't know exactly how to do so while assuming the rope was involved which is why he asked for the rope in the first place. Then comes along Sans who probably DOES know what's going on with Sayori, and when Sayori talks about her problems; that is when Sans becomes more aware of what is going on, and helps out in a more emotional way by talking things out.

Man, I was so happy to see that Sayori would be getting a somewhat happy ending, and getting a talking to from sans that really helped liven up the mood, but of course Monika had to screw up the day. Some great art worm this episode, by the way! Despite me being upset about the ending, I'm still excited to see what happens next! Great job once again!

sans doesn’t remember resets, that’s not canon, what he can do is assume, because he can tell by the look on your face that things have happened multiple times, aka him killing you. Heck, all monsters have a weird feeling whenever a reload happens. Which is what might happen here with Papyrus.

I loved two parts! When Sans actually helped Yuri out and showed her a cardboard cutout of himself! Seeing that ending got me curious, I get that Monika deleted Sayori, but seeing that glitchy ending with the latter hanging, I get the feeling that the Man who Speaks in Hands or Alphys prevented Monika from deleting Sayori. Neither of the skelebros take much note of the surface so this is probably after a true pacifist. And they SOMEHOW? Got stuck inside the game either that or clones or smth. ok..*spoilers* Sans really was a huge help to Sayori, she needed that talk from him but f*cking Monika couldn't accept it so she deleted her regardless. Also the fact that Alphys is the one who added sans and papyrus to the game files. So either Alphys played the game and saw the ending, which made her add sans and papyrus to stop the events. Or she added them in first and then started it. I feel like it's the first one and Monika is not happy about this, I don't think she can delete them either.
