Thanks for the vid. Good job on everything. Light wood was a good idea. Wish i had your skills. Some people are just natural born engineers...Wish you were a little closer too and then i could just drop my vintage stuff off for you to work on (if you wanted to that is). Mostly small stuff, but my skills pretty much begin and end with DeoxIt. 😂

Thank you for watching! Glad you like the wood veneer. It's one of my favorites. I do offer mail-in repair services but not having to ship stuff sure is nice!

@@Shuksanaudio Definitely. When i figure out how i want to go about it I'll email you - or maybe when i start to try to figure it out. ;)

Y'know, there's a market for viewership if you start just randomly and spuriously buying old receivers, refurbishing and reselling them. Just two years ago, I bought a Pioneer SA-610 for $106 (I live in Iceland) because where I live, there's just not a ton of older equipment like this left, and if we have to buy it from overseas we still have to pay a 25% import tax on top of cost + shipping fees. I think pretty much all of us love it when quality electronics are kept from going to the landfill.

Haha yea that's what I've been doing. I have 7 videos back logged but haven't had the time to edit them since I've been busy working on gear...more long form videos coming soon! Ahh man! Yea I bet there is very little gear in Iceland. Super cool that you are into it though! Agreed! I hate to hear about this stuff getting thrown out. It's a shame. Thanks for watching!

Hello, I own a Pair of NAD Model 240 Floor Standing Speakers. ( 8" Woofers and 1" Tweeters ) The large White Painted 3" NAD logo with 4 White lines is on the lower 1/3 of each of the Black Speaker Boxes. Have you ever seen these Speakers before? I was wondering How and When they came about.
@Shuksanaudio8 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching and subscribing! I haven't heard of those speakers before. Can't find much info about them online either. They look like they're built pretty well but hard to say. If you like the way they sound, keep em!
