I’m Dutch and made many errors (and offended many native speakers), because even though an English word translated more or less as the Dutch equivalent of what I wanted to say, it did NOT have the same meaning to native speakers in a certain context. This example is perfect: attractive and handsome could mean approximately the same thing (in Dutch both words can be translated as knap), and it takes a skilled or native speaker to know the different usage and appropriate context for both.❤

Have you tried making jelly squares ? Add 3 tablespoons of gelatine to a packet of jelly mix & water , set in a silicon tray then cut up into squares. Yummy finger food.

@@Orangejuice2313 Yeah, you're wrong. It started as a pagan holiday to celebrate the winter solstice and the Roman god, Saturn. It wasn't until the 4th century that the church started using December 25th to coincide with the other festivals. Thus, Jesus is not the reason for the season.
